Story
I found Bubba when I was still in the Military, stationed at Fort Hood Texas. Dogs will sometimes be abandoned by family’s as they move to new duty stations, this may have been the case. Either way, he was just 12 weeks at the time. Roaming the streets with no care in the world. I opened my car door and he jumped right in. I had some experience training dogs in the military prior to picking him up, so I applied basic obedience, leash training, and crate training. Bubba was heavily socialized with people, kids, and dogs/cats at age appropriate times throughout his growth to 1 year. I was ordered to report to South Korea for 1 year. He was left with a fellow service member and his 8 pure bred Belgian shepard’s. He’s got as much energy as you’d expect from a cattle dog, and equally as much pettiness from a husky. He’s 2 years old, loyal, loving, and a handful. I’m looking for a home that is patient and can handle energy. Separating from the military has been hard, and he deserves better.
