Balto is a one year old male Akita mix and an absolutely stunning boy. His gorgeous, fluffy coat practically glows in the sunshine - and it’s so comforting to pet his super-soft fur! He walks well on a leash and almost prances while out and about … yes, he definitely knows that he’s handsome! Balto enjoys going on walks and likes running along the fence line with other dogs in adjacent play areas. Most of all, he truly loves spending time with his human friends and is happy to do whatever you have in mind, whether that’s a neighborhood stroll or curling up on the couch for movie night. While Balto adores people, he has been dog-selective at the shelter, so a Meet and Greet would be needed if other dogs live in your home. But don’t worry - Balto has a big heart and more than enough love to give all on his own. Come meet this sweet boy soon, and give Balto the loving home he deserves! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Let’s get Jasmine a home for the holidays! She is a WONDERFUL big puppy who absolutely adores EVERYONE! Jasmine was originally a bottle baby with us earlier in the year and she and her siblings were all adopted. However, her new owner had a family emergency and was unable to keep her. Now she is back with us and desperately needs a forever home! Her mom appears to have been an Akita and her dad was a mixed breed with some husky (one of her siblings got a DNA test done). She is nine months old and weighs 58 pounds. She will probably get upwards of 75 pounds when fully grown. Jasmine has grown up in a home with other large breed dogs and with kids ranging from toddlers and up. Her adopters also had little kids and big dogs. Jasmine is crate trained and house trained. She ADORES kids!! She’s also a big puppy and loves playtime with all other dogs. She’s not the most coordinated when running around, but she’s up for playtime with everyone and is often our “greeter” at adoption events. Meet Olive. She is a Husky/Shepherd mix, roughly 2-3 years old, charismatic, energetic, and will stick by your side whether you’re inside or outside. She’s great on leashed walks. She gets along with cats, dogs, chickens, and kids just fine. She is vocal when she plays (as huskies are). We adopted her January last year and just had our second child. Unfortunately we are finding the struggles of having a 2 years old, 2 month old, and a small house to be extremely stressful. She has been a wonderful addition to our family, but we cannot give her the attention she deserves.
