Petey is a fun-loving boy who is great with every person he has met, young and old. He might be okay around other dogs, but he's selective. He walks well on leash, until he sees a rabbit, squirrel or cat, but he would easily adjust to a no-pull harness. He loves to get belly rubs!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We would like to introduce Split! Split’s family got into a pickle with too many dogs and lots of children and not enough time for either. We agreed to help rehome some of the younger dogs and get them into better situations. Split is handsome!!! He is likely half husky and half mastiff cross. He reminds us very much of two other pups that we had in Rescue earlier this year so could very well be related. Split is a gentle and shy young man weighing in at 50 pounds. He is about two years old so is full grown. He is learning to be crate trained and is potty trained and is fine with cats and other dogs. He grew up with children. Split knows some commands and can walk on a leash. His foster says he is so very sweet and does get comfortable with new people and things fairly quickly. We are looking for a wonderful forever home for Split! LSAR.rescuegroups.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 14, 2025, 9:01 am

He is smart, loyal, housebroken, both protective yet gentle, and proven to be trainable. He travels well in the car, enjoys being close to people, and has a thick, soft coat with a cute curled tail. Milo is mostly a mix of Siberian Husky, Beagle, German Shepherd, Terrier, Poodle, Pomeranian based on DNA test. He gets along well with female dogs and puppies but often has conflicts with male dogs, so a home where he could be the only male dog is recommended.Milo is good with adults, but has had limited to no interaction with children, so that is an unknown. He is attentive to his surroundings and checks on his humans regularly. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 22, 2025, 11:21 pm
