Noelle was surrendered due to her house being flooded and her family being forced to relocate.After the flooding , she was caged a great portion of her days due to everything in her families life being turned upside down .She previously lived with children and other dogs however she likes to be the Alpha . Paige is a 5 year old , 75 pound Akita .She is a loyal girl who loved being a part of a family . When her owners seperated she was rehomed and then ended up as a stray on a porch barely moving .It was determined she has anaplasmosis (a tick Bourne disease ) and is currently being treated . Her outlook is great and she should show no residual signs once she's done. We are looking fur someone familiar with the breed to take Paige under their wing.Akitas can be protective and need strong , confident owners to help them with setting clear boundaries. Hi my name is Booker, I am 5 years old. I am an Akita and if you’re familiar with the breed then you may already know that I can be a handful. My owner didn’t crate train me during Covid and as a puppy I got used to him being home all the time, so when things went back to normal-ish and he left me alone I noticed that I developed some separation anxiety and would become destructive. It’s not my fault, I just don’t like being in tight spaces (crates) or left alone. I need an experienced owner to work with me, who has the time to give me. I love the snow and cold weather, I love taking walks and being able to run around in open fields or yards. I have 1 feline brother and 1 feline sister and had 1 canine sister up until recently. I love them but I get so excited around them and want to play so I tend to forget how big I am and pounce sometimes. Mom has to monitor frequently our interactions and act as the mediator.

Fenrir is available for adoption. Fenrir is a beautiful blue eyed boy. He's approximately 2 years old. This sweet boy is not the brightest bulb in the box, but he sure is funny. Surprisingly, he's very mellow and quiet. I think someone forgot to tell him that he's a husky, not a lab. Fenrir is extremely housebroken. He's been in foster for over 2 months and hasn't had a single accident. He is crate trained, and really enjoys his crate. He isn't destructive, but he does have an obsession with toilet paper so I'd keep the bathroom door closed ??Fenrir is very dog friendly. He transitioned seamlessly into living with my two dogs. He understands boundaries and isn't confrontational. He is also cat friendly. He doesn't chase my cats and he doesn't pester my grumpy old lady cat. He'll try to sniff her every now and then. She hits him, and he just walks away. Fenrir is on seizure medication that will need to be continued. He's great about taking his medication. His medication is about 50$ a month which isn't that expensive, all things considered. He hasn't had a seizure in over 3 months. This boy needs a forever home of his own ??
