Introducing Teddy, the ultimate family-friendly pup! Whether you live in a house or apartment, Teddy fits right in. He's with kids 0-3 and 13-16 in his foster home and has done great with them, and has also had positive experiences with other dogs. Teddy enjoys both indoor and outdoor time, whether it's romping in a fenced yard or taking leisurely leash walks. Teddy's play style is gentle and dainty, striking the perfect balance of fun and gentleness. When left alone for 3-4 hours, he's content in his crate. Teddy's mellow, easy-going nature makes him a hit with everyone he meets, and he's always up for walks and cuddles. He's even house trained! Teddy's Saturday mornings are filled with family playtime and evening strolls. Plus, his love for bacon treats makes training a breeze, with tricks like sit, treat-catching, and even a little dance! Schmoo is a big, happy, goofy dog. He is happy to lounge in the yard and tries really hard to keep up with the smaller, quicker dogs. He is comfortable with everyone of all ages and is an all around good boy! Schmoo's adoption fee has been sponsored.

Story
New Beginnings Shepherd Rescue is a volunteer based rescue, we work very hard to help as many adoptable GSDs as possible. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters across the country, so sadly we do not have any background information on them.....but we work very hard to get to know each and every dog brought into our program in need of a new beginning in their lives. We do not take animals with aggression problems (some may not like other dogs, cats, or may require older kids as opposed to younger children, but we will let you know everything that we know) most of these beautiful dogs have been faithful and loving family pets for their entire lives, yet still have lost their homes and families through no fault of their own. If you are interested in opening your heart and home to one of these amazing dogs please fill out our adoption application at https://www.newbeginningsrescue.com/adoption-application and we will get back in touch after we get it processed. If you don't hear from us in 3 days, please send us a gentle reminder and one of us will get right on it. Please indicate the dog you are interested in meeting, where it says preference on the application! You may also email julie@newbeginningsrescue.com , we are always happy to answer any questions you may have. If you give them your heart, they will give you theirs.  April 30, 2024, 9:46 am
