Story
Meet Lupita!Lupita came into the shelter June 3rd surrendered due to her escaping the yard. We have not had any issues with her escaping at the shelter since she has been here.Lupita lived with other dogs and has proven to be an absolute pro when she is in large play groups with other dogs. She plays nice and will even enjoy a nice dip in the pool with a couple of her favorite girlfriends. Lupita is working on her leash skills, she is not half bad, she just needs a bit more practice and she will be a pro in no time. She is potty trained and tends to keep kennel very clean. Interesting fact, she is missing part of her ears and toes but, it doesn’t seem to affect her at all. We did not get any history as to why she was missing some parts but it doesn’t matter to us if she’s happy! Come meet Lupita today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.

Story
Meet Quibli!Quibli came into the shelter on July 29th as a surrender due to no fault of his own.Quibli has done outstanding with meeting new people! He is always willing to go the distance to meet a new friend. His smile says it all. He has been around children, other dogs, and is having a blast in his new playgroup! He does need some help with leash training and has a minor bad habit of nibbling on the leash, but has responded to corrections about this behavior rather well.Quibli still needs to be potty trained because of his age, but so far, he has been using the restroom outside like a good boy! He loves a good rope toy and also loves to dip his toes in the water, but nothing crazy. Our staff says that one of the best things about Quibli is that he`s an absolute goofball! He loves to flop onto his back right in front of you and beg for a good belly rub. And after that, he loves to sleep on your lap till your legs fall asleep.Come meet Quibli today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.

Story
Meet Juno!Juno came into the shelter on July 29th as a surrender due to too many animals under one roof.Juno has been fantastic when meeting new people! She responds to her name, smiles when she sees new people, and has a large, wiggly tail wag. She always wants to let you know that she`s happy to see you. She is comfortable around children and is in a large play group with six other dogs. She loves to say hello to everyone individually before taking a spot in the shade to relax. But don`t be fooled, when she plays, she gives it her all! She loves to jump in and out of thepool, roll in the mud, and romp around with her siblings.Juno walks well on a leash and shows us improvement with everything she does. She is still potty training but improves by the day. Our staff says that she loves mini milk bones and that Juno always lights up any room she walks into. Her sweet personality and her kind soul make it hard not to smile.Come meet Juno today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
