Story
It is with a heavy heart that I am looking to rehome Percy. He is the sweetest and gentlest boy and deserves a calmer home than we can provide. Percy is around 5 years old, fully vaccinated, and comes with his papers. We adopted him from a rescue and have had him for over a year. He is scared of our senior dog and often hides when things get loud or busy. He has never shown aggression. He loves calm attention and has happily sat on the porch while mail carriers pet him. He does well with other gentle dogs and ignores neighborhood cats. He is fine around small kids but prefers to keep his distance and stay in quiet spots. Percy is mostly house trained but may have accidents if he is not let out often enough. He enjoys being outside in peaceful settings and would thrive in a quiet home with a fenced yard and patient people who will let him warm up at his own pace. He deserves a soft place to land and a life where he feels truly safe and loved.

Simba and his siter Nala are your classic Huskies in all the best ways - they loves to chase (yes, cats and chickens beware!), explore the great outdoors, and soak up cool weather like it’s their job. But unlike some Huskies, Nala and Simba also have a chill side firmly in place. They are house-trained, affectionate, and a total pro at lounging on anything soft and fuzzy — especially if it means being close to their humans. At 8 years old, Nala and Simba still have plenty of playful energy and would thrive in a home that gives them opportunities for both fun and relaxation. They are happiest in air conditioning (can you blame them?) and are always down for a lazy afternoon full of pets and love. Nala and Simba would do best in a home without cats or small animals due to their prey drive. They have lived in a home with children their whole lives and do well with them.
