I was originally adopted from right here, but I've been living in the Baltimore area for a while. Sadly, my owner passed away, and there were no family members able to take me in. The wonderful team at the Humane Society didn't hesitate - they drove all the way to Baltimore to pick me up and bring me back so I can find my new forever family.I was the best boy on the car ride, but I'll be honest... the shelter is loud and crowded right now, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. Still, I know this is the path to finding the person who will love me again.A little about me:I'm a 71‑pound Husky mix with two different colored eyes (everyone says they're pretty cool).I've lived with other dogs before and did just fine.Cats? I don't mind them at all.I'm a gentle, easygoing guy who just wants a soft place to land.I'm neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to go home today.I've had a tough stretch, but I'm still full of love and hope. They provided a wonderful history of her care, and it's clear she was very well loved.Koda is a happy, friendly Husky who does well with both cats and dogs. True to her breed, she has that classic Husky energy and enthusiasm for life. She enjoys multiple walks a day and would thrive with an active family who can keep up with her adventurous spirit.At just 1½ years old, Koda is still very much a puppy at heart! She has one striking blue eye and one beautiful brown eye-unique and unforgettable, just like her personality.
