Story
Foxy is possibly an Alaskan Klee Kai (miniature husky) ... About Foxy. She is a very sweet girl but can also have that aloof Husky nature. Meaning Foxy listens when she wants to. Not disobedient, just pretends she doesn’t hear you and carries on with whatever she deems more important. 😉 We have other dogs as well as foster dogs periodically and she does great with them (big and small). We live on an acre and a half and she uses every inch. She loves to run. She will, at times, nip at the heels of the other dogs when they are running inside. She kind of nips and herds at the same time. We have a horse. She’s fine with the horse but still unsure of him. This leads me to barking. She does not. I have never heard her bark. She does this cute kind of half woof half howl kind of thing. She does it any time she comes across something new or interesting. It’s like she’s vocalizing while trying to understand what it is. She eats breakfast and dinner with one of our smaller dogs. She is in no way food aggressive. She loves treats. Marrow bones in particular, although she has to thoroughly sniff it or any treat before she will take it. Again, in her own time. She really cannot be bothered by anything. She loves people. Is not shy or skiddish. She’s just her own dog. She loves to play fight and chase with our other dogs. She loves a sit down on the couch. She’ll lay in your lap if you let her. Loves pets. She’s got the thickest, most gorgeous coat ever. So soft. That being said, she needs brushing, and lots of it. She has that undercoat that you can brush for days and still get hair on the comb. The last time we brushed her outside it looked like a winter wonderland. I would highly recommend a groomer. She has been on Purina Pro Plan puppy since being with us. Wet and dry twice daily. I have teenagers so I don’t know how she would do with younger kids. She walks well on a leash. AMBASSADOR - $300: not eligible for waived adoption specials

Story
An adoption application MUST be submitted. https://forms.gle/dTPNpYKDXLs4F6786They were so small when the world first turned its back on them — fragile bodies pressed together, fighting to stay warm, fighting to stay alive. Every breath felt uncertain. Every whimper carried the quiet fear of being forgotten. They entered life already knowing hardship, their tiny hearts beating against odds no newborn ever should face. When they were rescued, they were hanging in that delicate space between hope and heartbreak. Weak, vulnerable, and desperately clinging to one another, they trusted the gentle hands that lifted them to safety. And from that moment on, their story began to change.Day by day, those once-faint cries turned into playful squeaks. Their trembling steps grew steadier. Bellies that once ached with hunger filled, and their eyes — once heavy with exhaustion — began to shine with curiosity. You could almost see the relief settle into their tiny bodies as they learned what it felt like to be safe. Now, these little fighters burst with life. They tumble over each other in joyful chaos, tails wagging like they’re trying to outrun the sadness they once knew. They chase toys with fearless determination, give kisses with complete trust, and curl up together with the soft sighs of puppies who finally understand comfort. But beneath their playful energy lives the memory of how hard they fought to get here. These are not just puppies — they are tiny miracles who refused to give up. Their hearts are enormous, overflowing with the kind of love that only comes from knowing what it feels like to almost lose everything. They are ready now. Ready to trade survival for belonging. Ready to leave behind the chapter that nearly stole their story and step into homes where they will be cherished, protected, and adored. All they ask for is a family willing to see the warriors inside these small, wiggly bodies — and to promise them that they will never have to fight alone again.
