Story
Meet Minnie! Minnie is a petite bob-tail Manx girl with a sweet spirit and the softest little presence. She can be shy at first, especially around other cats and dogs, but once she has a quiet space and a trusted human, her true personality shines. Minnie loves people. Give her a little time to feel safe, and she becomes a cuddly, affectionate companion who’s happiest beside you. She’s also delightfully stretchy—you’ll catch her doing long, graceful stretches throughout the day, like a tiny yoga master showing off her best poses. Minnie would thrive in a calm home where she can be the center of someone’s attention. With patience and love, she’ll reward you with snuggles and all the adorable stretches you could ever want. Ready to give this sweet girl the peaceful, loving home she deserves? Minnie can’t wait to meet you.

Story
Meet Podo!  Podo is a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair Bobtail with the sweetest heart and the cutest little tail. This handsome boy is a total lovebug who melts for tummy rubs and pets. Podo’s journey hasn’t been easy—he was rescued from a cat colony a year ago suffering from severe pododermatitis (“pillow foot”). Life outdoors was no longer safe for him, so he came to the sanctuary for treatment. After months of care, we were thrilled to get his condition into remission! While pillow foot can sometimes relapse, with proper monitoring Podo is expected to live a long, happy, and healthy life. Today, Podo is thriving. He’s a gentle, affectionate companion who enjoys the company of other cats, is good with kids, and even gets along with dogs. He’s a little on the chunky side, which only adds to his charm.  If you’re looking for a loyal, loving cat who’s overcome the odds and is ready to fill your home with warmth, Podo is your guy! Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference. Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using info@straylovefoundation.org, or by clicking the donate button on our: Facebook page Website homepage at www.straylovefoundation.org October 19, 2025, 10:57 pm

Story
Lilly is the sweetest bunny butt (she has no tail!). All she wants is love and attention. A definite lap cat. Lilly would like do best as an only cat or could do well with another calm cat and a slow introduction.Meet Lilly!! 💚🖤💚🖤Affectionately called Loch Ness Lilly by her foster family, this girl is a legendary creature of mythical proportions who inhabits her cat house rather than the Scottish Highlands. Lilly is a funny, quirky 9-year-old who has the cutest bunny butt and not one single tooth in her pretty little head. Does that stop her from letting you know who’s boss, you ask? Absolutely not! Lilly says you don’t need teeth to prove a point, even if it’s hard not to giggle at her gummy little hisses. Loch Ness Lilly has been around the block and put through the wringer, so she’s justifiably skeptical of humans at first. Her adopter will need to be patient and earn her trust. If you do that, you’ll also earn a best friend. Lilly is the kind of girl who’s going to loyally devote her heart and soul to the right person. Give her love and a lap, and you’ve got yourself your very own Loch Ness Lilly. She will need a quiet home with no dogs or small children. We are still working to see if she could be comfortable with a kitty companion. For now, we’re still just listening to Lilly and letting her tell us what she needs, what she wants, and when she’s ready. She’s not a girl who can be rushed, but one thing is already incredibly obvious — she’s a girl who can be very loved.Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and RescueHoover, AL 35226205-302-8883
