Story
This is Marble. His feral mama showed up with 4 kittens in tow over the summer. We trapped mom and spayed her when the kittens were old enough to be weaned and fixed. Marble is a bob-tail and he is shy at first. But he comes around pretty quickly with treats and toys. He loves the other kittens and tries to play with the ferrets in his foster home. He enjoys the catio . and running on the cat wheel. He has been around dogs and doesn't seem to mind them with a proper introduction we believe he will do well with a dog. He has started to come around for lots of pets. He will come and play with toys when you initiate play. He's neutered, ear-tipped, negative for FIV/FeLV and has been vaccinated.

Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. Bobbie is a stray who found her way the home of a good samaritan. She remained hidden in a  neighborhood except for feeding time for several months. During  the cold period this past winter she came inside the house where  she is quite comfortable now. As a female orange cat with a bob tail, Bobbie is a rare find as most  orange cats are male. She seems to be most comfortable with  women. A recent visit by two granddaughters brought her out of her shell. We suspect she was in a home previously with children given her  positive reaction to two little girls. Bobbie is a sweet cat that  would do well in an apartment or a home without too many people. She is a low  maintenance kitty and seems to tolerate the dog with no issues. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Story
Jasper is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he is with his humans. He will even spend all day with you on the couch if you want. This little Tuxedo Bobtail is really something special. No matter what you are doing, working, relaxing, or tackling household chores, he will follow you everywhere to be part of it and to be with his human. For sure, he will be your most loyal companion. His playful, energetic nature makes him a lot of fun to have around also. He does get along with other cats, but his enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for timid kitties. This sweet boy spent several months in the woods fending for himself before being rescued and deserves a family of his own and a place where he can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished. He will thrive in a home where he has room to play, people to love, and plenty of attention. He will be the perfect addition to your family. Older children only please. Call Susan at 850.281.5557 (No Texts Please) or submit his online adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/adoptarescue/cat-adoptionfoster-application

Story
Frankie is a 7 year old bobtail calico female. We have done TNR in Pensacola and Frankie was one we knew shouldn’t be returned. . She has been spayed and She lives in a house with 9 other cats. She is quiet, patient, kind, the one in the back ground. She needs more. A loving home where she doesn’t have to compete. She wants to be a lap cat but is over run by the other cats. She is the best most well behaved cat we have in our home but deserves her own spotlight. please feel free to reach out for any questions or more pictures. Thank you Rebecca

Story
Adopted Milo from Pensacola Humane Shelter in 2024. He is 2 years old. He is very cuddly and low energy. He has never caused us any headache or burden outside of small medical issues. We have had a baby in the time we’ve had him and he has never once shown any aggression or anxiety around our now 1.5 year old, or the other cat we own. He has no tail. The reason for giving him up is he is a cat that requires more regular vet visits than we can afford. He has had fleas that we’ve maintained treatment for as well as a couple of UTI’s that we’ve had to treat. He is house trained and litter trained, but the UTI’s caused temporary peeing issues outside of the litter box. We want him to go to a home that can make sure he gets the vet visits he needs to ensure he’s always taken care of. Really the best cat we could’ve asked for but we don’t have the money to pay for any medical stuff that may come up. We think he would be able to live a very happy comfortable life in any home he goes to.

Story
Puma looks and walks like one - hence his name, but is very affecionate. His Mama dropped him off in April last year at our porch when he was 3 weeks old. He has been neutered, got his rabies shots and is very strong and healthy - literally runs up a 30ft pecan tree in 5-6 seconds and comes down once he is done looking around. Loves to watch the sprinkler or me mowing the lawn from a distance. If you're in the yard working or just chilling in the gazebo he'll help you. He knows how to use a cat door, uses the litter box routinely and is remarkably "clean" and always immaculate - smells like a fresh bathroom rug /always wondered/. He can catch moles and rats if need be /but is decent enough not to leave them around the house. He is a snuggle bug and talks all the time - knows basic word phrases like - "You want treats?" - "You hungry?" and definitely knows what "Tuna" and "Chicken" is. He is calm and used to play with his brother Jerry around the house and used eachother as pillow.
