Story
Bobby has Manx syndrome. He has urinary overflow incontinence but is continent of stool so he is not a candidate for diapers. He would benefit immensely from someone with vet tech experience or experience expressing cats bladders. He has been with me for 2 years. Initially he was cage bound due to his incontinence but I’ve given him his own room now. I have been struggling hard for 2 years to express his bladder. I’ve had endless education and I just can’t get it without a fight with him. 2 months ago he had a urinary blockage due to a UTI but he passed the tissue at home and went and got antibiotics immediately. He is at very high risk for recurrent UTI and blockages especially if he can’t get expressed. Even if I were to figure it out, I work 13 hour days so he’d have times where he’s going way too long without. He is fully mobile and has no other issues.
