Please email megshrum@gmail.com with questions.  The Adoption Process If you are ready to meet this feline please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your internet browser: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10664/generic Once your application is submitted, we will contact the vet reference provided. If you do not yet have a vet, please provide three personal references – these could be family and friends who can attest to your pet parenting skills. A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match.   The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about their likes, dislikes, and little quirks.   The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you’re ready to take the feline home as your furry forever friend, their adoption fee is $150. ##2616746##

Story
I've had Roger since he was a kitten, he was rescued through C.A.R.E., and he is now 8 years old. Roger is very well trained, fully litter trained and does not scratch furniture. Hes looking for a home without small dogs, as he doesnt do well with them, but he gets along great with larger dogs. Roger truly deserves a home that can give him the love, attention, and freedom he needs. He would thrive in a space where he can roam freely and no longer be separated to one side of the house. Roger is incredibly affectionate, he loves to cuddle, enjoys treats, and is obsessed with his cardboard scratch posts. He also loves catnip and laser toys. He's a sweet, loving companion who will bring so much joy to the right home.

Story
This is Luna. She is looking for a new home. My environment at home is not the most comfortable for her due to my hyperactive dog and I would love to find her a comfortable & safe home. She is sooo cute, super sweet & loves to play! She is good with small children! She loves cuddles and loves to follow you around. Luna loves to be the star of the show and also loves her own space as well. She is caught up with all her shots as well and I have paperwork for those! She can also come with her own cat tower, bed, 2 cat scratching post, toys, treats, food, stainless steel water fountain and litter box!

Story
Jojo is a 5 year old tuxedo-tabby mix. She was rescued from Philadelphia as a kitten and has been a sweet, sassy cat ever since. She has no allergies or medical issues, although she is a little overweight. She is welcoming to other cats and has experience being around dogs. As for Jojo’s new home, I hope to find her someone who has had cats before (even just in childhood) and enjoys playing with her.
