Story
Meet Smokey – The Adorable Bobtailed Window Watcher 🐾 Smokey is a handsome brown tabby with the cutest little bobtail and bright white mittens that make him extra charming. Just over a year old, this sweet boy has a gentle, sensitive nature and is looking for a patient home where he can feel safe and loved. Smokey can be a bit shy at first and prefers to approach people on his own terms. If you try to move too quickly toward him, he may scamper off—but the magic happens when you simply sit down and give him space. Before long, Smokey will wander over and curl right up in your lap for quiet snuggles. Once he feels safe, he’s an incredibly sweet and affectionate companion. One of Smokey’s favorite things to do is lounge by the window, soaking up the sunshine and watching the outside world go by. A cozy window perch would make his day! Smokey does well with other cats and is currently fostered with a female cat he gets along with nicely. However, he would prefer a dog-free home where he can relax and feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet-natured cat to share your home with, Smokey is ready to find his person. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. The Greater Houston area faces one of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the U.S. We’re a nonprofit on a mission—to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs at risk, while promoting spay/neuter outreach in the community. When you adopt, you save more than one life— the one you adopted, and the space opened up to save another. Follow our journey and stay connected! 🌐 threelittlepittiesrescue.org 📘 facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue 📸 instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
I named her Pounce because she was an explorer (Pounce de Lion) and leapt 3 feet high. She likes warmth and laps. She can be affectionate but on her terms. We have decided to travel more and we think it would be better to rehome than continually getting sitters. She has a sister but they do not like each other anymore so they don’t need to rehome together.

Story
Squeaks has decided she doesn’t like her sister and is stressed out. She just had back teeth removed due to genetic disposition to decay, but doesn’t have any problem eating kibble or wet food. Her shots are up to date. She likes to go outside and has a leash. She also has a catio that she likes in nice weather. She likes lap time. About 8 years old.
