🐾💙STETSON is looking for his FOREVER HOME 💙🐾 This sweetheart just arrived yesterday and is doing absolutely AMAZING in his foster home so we are going to list him so that he can find his FOREVER!! Stetson was found abandoned after being used for breeding and of course he was heartworm positive. Being a large dog and heartworm positive up there is a death sentence, but all the workers fell in love with him, and told us how amazing he was, so wanted to give him a chance. He had his fast kill Injections and vetting up in Georgia , as they can get it done cheaper than we can get it done here! Stetson is an American Bulldog, just turned 2 years old, and he weighs 84 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccines and preventatives and just completed heartworm treatment. He is a gentle giant and loves everyone he meets. His foster Dad says he is the most stunning dog he has ever seen, and we agree!!He is potty trained, crate trained, Dog 🐶 Kid 👧 and cat 🐱 friendly. ( He’s actually scared of cats! 😂) He loves to ride in the car and go for walks. He can pull on the leash but is working on this. Young kids might not be the best as he doesn’t know his size and may knock them down accidentally. He believes he is an 80 lb lap dog and wants to follow you everywhere! His foster Mom says he is an absolutely AMAZING dog and whoever gets him is getting a true Gem!!💎 He is in a loving foster home in Clermont, Florida with the Poe family. Buddy is ~4yrs, enjoys chillin, chewin on his toys and bones, snuggles and play. Has selective hearing-hears loud noice, does have a level of hearing loss. He would probably do okay with a companion with proper slow introduction. Bud is a good dog, all he needs is the right person to give him a chance by gaining their trust. He does well with reward training. He does not do well when put in a fearful position or is not given attention. He needs to get his energy out, then he enjoys to relax by laying next to his person. All dogs have been spay/nuetered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are all rescue only or for space pulls from Hernando County Animal Services. We have provided them with basic obedience training. Most respond well to basic voice commands; sit, stay, here, lay, off, down, & bed. Exact breed is unknown as we do not DNA test. We believe none of our rescues are pure-breed dogs. Rather a combination of Hounds/Terriers/Bully breeds. They have however all been behavior tested and are available for adoption. If there are any known issues with any of our dogs we disclose at meet and greet. No adoption fees. Donations are the only means of funding our rescue.
