Can you say Oh My Goodness? This handsome guy is Bruno and he is just the bestest dog! He is back at the shelter and he is still looking for a person that is in it for the long haul. Despite his situation, he is still the upbeat Bruno that we know. This proves that dogs are possibly the best creatures on earth. Bruno is a large breed dog and he is still on the thin side so with proper care he is going to fill out and those markings are going to be gorgeous! His face just says it all. Story
Birdie is an extremely loving silly girl. She is super playful and adores her people. So far she has gotten along well with dogs she has met and she can coexist with cats but sometimes gets overly curious and intrusive. Birdie came to us as a stray that was never claimed so we do not know her history. Unfortunately we have not had anyone step up to foster Ms. Birdie so we have not had the opportunity to see how she does in the home but she does well with not using the bathroom in her kennel if she is on a routine schedule. She loves toys but she needs durable things to play with as she is a chewer! She really enjoys antlers and nylabone type toys for getting her chewing on. I do not think she would be a destructive house dog as long as she has plenty of toys. We hope to get Birdie into a foster home soon so that we can learn even more what the perfect home for her looks like. This amount unfortunately does not even cover the costs of her basic care so please do not ask if we will "take less". My name is Pippin and I come in like a wrecking ball! If you need a fun loving ball of energy ready to zoom around your home and your heart then come meet Pippin! Pippin loves life, people, treats, toys and chaos! You wont find a dog who wants to be your best friend in a tiny stocky package than this girl. At the young age of 1 she is still learning her manners and really needs to work on that mouthy playing but she is easily corrected and willing to learn and overall wants to please her people. She would do best in a home with a dog who can meet her energy and probably submit to her as she has some dominate behavior. She is not recommend to go to a home with a cat, while she may not intentionally hurt the cat she defiantly wanted to chase the cats and may not be as gentle as she should be since she doesn't seem to realize her strength. Her cute face and little snorts are sure to steal your heart.
