Story
Just cause a guy has a little hair growth issue doesn't mean he doesn't deserve love! Right, guys out there loosing some off the top?! Due to neglect before rescue, Eeyore will never quite have the shiny coat of his dreams, but just look at that face! This sweet boy deserves a home of his own just the same. As Winnie the Pooh's Eeyore says, "It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine!" and that's what our big guy does as he keeps hope alive for his furever family. He is now in good health and other than his hair looking a little thin, there is nothing to worry about when it comes to his hair! Eeyore is good with female dogs and loves people. We never recommend our adult dogs for homes with cats unless we know for sure that they have lived with them in the past. Apply to adopt at http://fs22.formsite.com/pbroklahoma/form1/index.html. His adoption donation is $150.

Story
Hi, my name is Ko Olina (KoKo for short) and I’m just your typical pittie girl looking for love. I keep getting overlooked at events and I’m starting to worry that no one wants me because I’m a pittie. My story starts when I was kicked out of a vehicle at Lake Hefner with a belt tied around my neck. That mean person sped off and left me to fend for myself, but some nice people saw it happen and made sure I safely got to Bella SPCA. Six months later, I am still here and learning manners with my foster mom. They said I was “shutting down” in the shelter so I needed a foster to help me live up to the meaning of my name “fulfillment of joy”. Now I am a 65lb lap dog and have lots of toys to play with, a yard to fetch my favorite squeaky ball in, and a nice fluffy bed of my own. I love car rides and going places with my foster mom. I am a health nut: I love bananas, blueberries, and I am an excellent running/walking buddy. I stay in my crate like a good girl when my mom goes to work and I sleep in her room on my bed at night. I love to watch tv in my foster mom’s lap and she says I’m a “Velcro dog with boney elbows and no concept of personal space.” I go to the back door to signal that I need to potty outside. If you want to know when those Amazon packages are delivered then I’m your girl: not even the sneakiest delivery person at my house goes undetected! Some nice folks sponsored me for Petsmart training classes and I’ve been learning a lot. I know the commands “sit, stay/wait,” and I’m working on getting better at “place” and “drop”. Oh, and “NO”… I know that one for sure. When mom gets my food ready I sit and wait patiently until she says “go”. UPDATE ON THIS!! I graduated from the Beginner Education on 1/23/2023!! Everyone has quirks and I’m up front about mine: I am people lover and selective of other canines (shouldn’t we all be picky about who we have for friends?!) and I’m not a fan of those little sketchy critters they call “cats”. It would be awesome if I could get all the love and attention for myself from my humans without sharing my spotlight with another pet. I LOVE little humans but since I sometimes jump in excitement (bad habit I am still working on) I might knock tiny ones down accidentally and I would feel terrible if that happened. Anyway, enough about me. Let’s meet up and see if there’s a connection. I have a ton of love to give and I’ve been waiting a long time to find my forever people.

Story
Miss Mocha’s birthday is 05/20/2020. She is almost 3 years old. She is extremely sweet and loves to cuddle. Like any dog, she is a fiend for some treats! She will bark and growl at strangers who approach the house. She is very great with children and cats. She is not so great with other dogs immediately. She will bark like crazy but then she will adjust to them and even play with them. She has never bitten anyone or any pet. She LOVES to cuddle and be petted and scratched and loved on. She is bathroom trained. She knows the following words: Up, down, good, treat, water, breakfast, sit, off, quiet, walk, potty, poop, and Mocha (of course). She is gentle with infants. She deserves all the love in the world from some great new owners! Mocha is sweet, but she definitely is sassy as well. She knows what to do, but likes to check if you’re still the boss of her. She is very loyal and very loving. What she needs in her new home is owners who love dogs and will treat her like family.
