Story
Fitz is a super happy go lucky guy that would really want a place to call home! He would do best in a home with no young kids and no cats. He is good with some dogs and can be very playful with people! He is still working on his leash manners and muzzle training, he is on no muzzle order but when he gets SO exited he gets a little nippy. If you think you are the perfect home for this love bug please give us a call for more information!!

Story
Molly is a 2 year old, bulldog mix pup who has had a good life so far. Her humans are working too much and would like to find her a place with some more free time. Molly has level one training for dog classes, and continues to show improvement everyday. She is jumpy, but still learning to not jump up. She walks the best in a halter, stops on all corners when walking for safety and is good with her recalls. She is very food motivated, as long as there treats she will do anything you ask and is willing to please. She is crate trained, she sleeps in her crate by herself at night time she likes to have a blanket in her crate or a bed. Molly is guarded meeting new people at first, but quickly warms up to anyone. She loves kids, but would recommend no young kids as she loves to play and will jump. Molly is okay with other dogs, but would be best in a home with no other pets. She plays rough with other dogs, so would recommend no smaller dogs. She does not get along with cats. She is a fun loving, energetic, cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up on the couch or in her little doggy bed. Molly loves to go for walks on the trails, loves playing fetch or tug. Loves having her chest, and cute, freckled belly rubbed all day long. She is an avid squirrel watcher, and loves to come fishing when we go. Loves a kiddy pool, in the summertime, can’t keep her out of it long enough she would splash and lay in it all day if allowed! Molly is in great health. She has been spayed and is UTD with vaccines. She has also been taking Nexgard monthly. Her adoption fee is $600. If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting her, please fill out the application.

Story
Urgent! Rehoming 2 female dogs, Freckles (10 years old) and Minnie (6-year-old, Freckle's pup). Rare breed Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs. Located in GOWANSTOWN, ON. The situation is heart breaking. I am the first owner of these dogs. I had to find a new home for them 2 years ago when I was pregant, moving in with my partner who had 2 dogs. 4 dogs unmanageable with newborn baby. They have packed personality. Very intelligient and integrate like family Freckles and Minnie are extremely bonded and should not be separted. They are not dog friendly and will lounge for dogs on walks - need to have an experience dog handler. Okay wih cats. Freckles had her back leg amputated from an injury that was not able to heal properly. She manages to get around fine - she needs dog stairs to get on a bed. The situation right now is URGENT! The family that took over has loved them like family for the past 2 years. The family is a single mom of 4. She fell on hardtimes. We need a new home ASAP.

Story
Hi my name is Aggie and I am newer to HBR, I am a very typical bulldog and can be stubborn if I do not want to do something and my owner may need to really encourage me at times, and my motivator is treats/food yummmmy. But on the plus side I really love to snuggle and be very close to my person and watch tv together. I do like to go on walks around the neighborhood nothing to fast paced or strenuous just a nice tempo walk. I love food so much and sometimes my urges take over and I can sneak food that I'm not supposed to have if my owner isn't looking and I really do not like waiting for my food so I sometimes need reminders to wait when its feeding time and to sit before I get my bowl, this is something I am working on with my foster human. I also like attention and can be jealous of my furry sister or brothers if they are getting attention so I may come and push them out of the way so that no one forgets about me but I am also very hard to resist with my bulldog charm. I really love my crate and it is referred to as "bed" by my foster humans and I don't like to share it with anyone else because it is my safe space, sometimes I need a little coaxing to get in there but once I'm in I settle quickly but please don't leave me in here too long or might whine/talk to remind you that I am here.My favourite outdoor activity is to find the best spot to soak up all the sun and just lay there even when I get to hot and start panting so I may need a reminder to take a water break but its so comfy who can blame me. Toys are not that interesting to me but bully sticks and tartar bones. Now that is my jam, I will chew until there is almost nothing left. My foster humans think I am such a great dog and low maintenance and would fit really well in a good home with some great humans who are ready to get all the snuggles. .Located in Ajax

COMING SOON- NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION (NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT UNTIL FULL BIO IS POSTED) Welcome Ginny who they called a shorty at the shelter she came from.Ginny is a gentle soul that is recovering from her spay and dental, she will be available for adoption in a few weeks.Hi 🐾 my name is Ginny … my foster mom also calls me love-bug and lovie. I don’t know why??…as soon as I see humans I get so excited, I want to jump on their laps and lick their faces because I love them soooo much! I don’t mind my foster dog and cat sisters but I want more human laps to snuggle 🥰 on. As much as I’d probably like a little human , I might knock them over … I don’t mean to but I am so happy to see them as well. Can I sit on your lap as well? Please!!!!
