Say hello to Farmer, a 10-month-old American Bulldog mix who’s 50 pounds of pure joy and expected to top out around 60-70 lbs. This goofy, lovable pup is rainbows, butterflies, and tail wags wrapped in one happy dog-shaped package!
Farmer has that classic puppy confidence — the kind that says, “What’s next? I’m in!” Nothing phases this boy. He’s dog and cat friendly, though he’s still learning that his four-legged pals appreciate a little personal space (don’t we all?). With a few reminders, he’s well on his way to becoming the perfect pet sibling.
This guy is crate trained, house trained, and already knows how to sit. He walks on leash, rides like a pro in the car, and is right in that sweet spot of puppyhood where he’s eager to learn and ready for whatever direction you take him. adventure buddy? Family dog? He’s all in.
Farmer is medium to active energy — playful, but not bouncing off the walls. He loves people of all kinds, but he's still working on his manners (especially the no-jumping thing), so he might accidentally topple over little humans in his excitement. With consistent training, this lovable pup will grow into an absolute rockstar.

Adoption process:Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved.
From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption.
Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption.
