Meet Gracie Lou! Gracie has lived a very hard life. She spent her first 5 years outside on a chain and when my family met her, we knew she deserved a chance. We've fostered Gracie for over a year now and have fallen head over heels for her. We would easily be a foster fail if our dogs would accept her into our home. We are looking for that special person or couple to promise her that she will never know that life she came from again. Gracie is completely house trained and doesn't require much effort. She's very happy to just be near you or to look out her window and watch the world! Despite the life she had, she loves and trusts so unconditionally. She is happy to be in the room with you and rolls immediately on her back for tummy rubs the minute she gets your attention. She is easy to be around and is just happy to have you as part of her life. Gracie is happy to go for a 1-2 mile walk or to run around your fenced yard. If you are going for a car ride, she will jump right in and navigate! She is very food motivated and has learned to sit. She's so smart and we are sure with someone's time she could learn so much more! Gracie loves toys and is so excited to have a new toy with a fresh squeaker!!! She is good on a leash but does get excited when she sees other dogs - she may need some help calming her excitement. She would also like to have her person close by, she spent too much of her life alone already. She would be best as an only dog with no kitty or child siblings. She is up to date on shots, spayed, and housebroken.

Yoyoma's adoption fee has been fully covered by a generous supporter, and OPH is including six virtual training sessions with a certified trainer during the first 60 days to help set you both up for success! Yoyoma is 9 years old and has been in foster care for awhile, because she wants to be your one and only loyal companion. She would like to take naps and watch TV with you. When it's time to exercise, playing ball is the activity of choice in a fenced yard, the higher the better. She'd like to take walks on a leash, but doesn't mind staying close to home. Sniffing to discover new smells rather than long walks is just fine with her. She would rather be with you than in large crowds as she is cautious with strangers, but once she gets to know them in familiar surroundings, she is ready for belly rubs. She has played with the fosters larger dogs but prefers to be the only dog in your family. The fosters grandchildren have played ball with her and she likes how they tell her to sit first then to retrieve. Rules and boundaries help her to feel comfortable. Bulma is a 3 year old, 70 lb American Bulldog. She is a super happy, very friendly dog. Her friendliness, however, doesn’t necessarily extend to other dogs. She can be a bit of a bully when she thinks she can get away with it. Bulma was raised outside with her brother (who was recently adopted). They had food, water, shelter and love from their human, but they were never allowed to live inside. When their mom became too ill to continue to care for them, she, regrettably, surrendered them to rescue. Bulma is affectionate and energetic. Her foster recommends she be placed in a home where she can be an only dog and get plenty of exercise. Her original human reported that she also had a cat that frequently spent time behind the fence with the dogs, but this hasn’t been tested and verified since entering rescue. Bulma hasn’t been tested with children but we have no reason to think she would be anything other than her sweet, friendly self. She might be a little much for very small children, since she is not bashful about showing love (just like every other Bulldog we’ve ever met). She needs some training to learn her doggy manners and she is very eager to please. She will be tons of fun, laughs, and kisses on day one! FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. If adopted locally and/or adopted in person, her fee is $275. What an adorable little firecracker !! FULL of personality and afraid of nothing! She is confident, curious, LOVES the water and her baby pool. Often times she's the only one willing to get in. Oofie lives to be with other dogs and especially adores her humans. She is literally always happy! You cannot rain on her parade! She is kennel trained and almost house trained! She is a joy to have as part of our foster family. LAMAREY is with me in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family.
