OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under 8 months old with a few adults available as well. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitty playroom, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will let you choose a surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has all three vaccines. Adopters must pay the total adoption fee before bringing the kitten home. Adopters must bring the kitten to the rescue for vaccines and for drop-off for a spay/neuter surgery appointment. Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Winnie is a sweet and cuddly girl. She would thrive in a home with someone or a family who will give her lots of pets as that is her favorite thing. Unfortunately we are moving and cannot take her but we promise she would be the perfect addition to your home and family

Klous is about 4 months old. He was dumped in the country and we have nursed him back to health. He is very sweet and deserves a loving home.

She was rehomed previously from the original owner. We were told that she lived well with other animals but for the last 3 years she has hidden away from other cats avoiding any form of play or confrontation. After many attempts trying to get her to socialize with the other cats, I think it's time she has found a new home as an only pet. Pinky is sweet, very affectionate. Not much of a hugger but a snuggler for sure when she curls next to your chest to serenade you in warm purr songs. She's now 8 years old and ready for someone to give her the time and care she needs as a senior cat.

Most, but not all, OKR kittens live with dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! Once our kittens have at least two vaccines, they are welcome into the kitty playroom, where they meet all their new friends and have lots of socialization. We aim to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten so you don't require immediate veterinary service. Therefore, we have a higher adoption fee and can offer more benefits.  Our adoption fee is currently at a reduced rate of $125 for all cats, excluding all orange cats ($225), and white & maine coon cats ($275). All of our kittens come with all 3 FVRCP vaccines, fully dewormed, treated for parasites, fleas, and ticks, micro-chipped with a lifetime registration, and more! While most of our kittens are already spayed/neutered before their adoption, some are too small and available through our "foster to adopt" program. We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. To foster to adopt, you pay the total adoption fee, and your appointment date for spaying/neutering will be scheduled by our staff once your new feline friend reaches their appropriate weight.
