Story
Dexter is a male kitten I found with his sister, in lorimor Iowa with no momma as she got sick and passed away. Him and his sister Dee Dee are a bonded pair because they have been together since I got them. Dexter was a runt with an infected eye and is now bigger and a bully to his sister. It’s ok though she fights back. Dexter loves attention and LOVES treats. He knows how to sit! Kind of he gets too eager so he stands on his hind legs.

Story
Dee Dee and her brother Dexter were found in lorimor Iowa with no momma as she got sick and passed, so without proper nutrition at a very young age she is very small for her age as of right now, her and her brother are roughly 4-6 months old. She and her brother are a bonded pair. Deedee may be smaller than Dexter but she bully’s him just as much as he bullies her. She loves people once you’ve gotten her heart, she’ll lick you and give you kisses all day long, and may nibble your ear.

Story
Hermes is about 3 years old. I'm moving this year and need to find him a new home. He's very high energy so he likes to play and run around quite a bit. His favorite is a laser pointer. Gets along with other people well. He's lost a little bit of weight since I took these pictures. Last at the vet a few months ago. I also have listed my other cat Apollo on here. They get along but I would no consider them "bonded buddies" as the ARL calls them, so they can go to separate homes or together. Just want to find them both somewhere good before I move (will be moving cross country to a much smaller place).

Story
Rigby is a very sweet cat. She loves humans, loves to cuddle and is pretty low maintenance. We adopted her when she was just a kitten and is about 6 years old now. Looking to rehome as we simply don’t have the time and attention this sweetie deserves.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
- Friendly, independent and social kitty who enjoys sitting in your lap- Likes being petted on his back- When feeling playful likes laser pointers and toy balls - Not a fan of being held- Will be a great addition to a quiet, calm household with calmer petsThis cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life! Story
A 10 year old mature girl who loves to sit in windows and look about when not napping in them. Loves the receiving pets when she opens and adjusts to new people. Skittish especially with fast movements and new places. Has lived with other felines for most of her life and isnt interested in grooming or playing with them. Has lived with a behaved dog without issue. Does best on wet food but isn't too picky if its dry as long as she doesn't feel hurried when eating. Family member has battling allergies for a year as to why seeking to remove her.
