Story
I’ve had Ronnie for roughly a year, he was a stray that started sneaking into my house. He’s the absolute sweetest and came fixed and without his front claws. He’s definitely an inside cat, I never found out where he came from. He’s good with dogs and cats and is very tame. My pets are all rather calm, they of course have spurts of energy but I can’t speak to how he would do in a high energy home. Vet says he’s likely 5 or so years old. He’s a big boy but still a lap cat, he loves attention and cuddles. He’ll likely dodge head kisses. I would love to keep him here, but I ultimately have too many animals. My biggest concern is finding him a good home to go to, hopefully his forever home. I am terrified of putting my animals into an abusive situation so I will be rather picky. Hopefully, you understand. He is a very sweet and loving cat, who deserves an equally sweet and loving home.

Story
We adopted Raven from the Purrfect Day Cat Cafe on Bardstown Road. When we first met her we fell in love with her immediately. She's super cuddly and friendly. When we brought her home she was nervous, but she warmed up to us very quickly. Unfortunately the same could not be said for our resident cat, Freya. We had assumed that Freya would get along with Raven, since Freya grew up in a household with 3 other kittens, her mother, and another unrelated cat. That wasn't the case however, and Freya was very nervous around Raven, hissing at her even when they were separated by a screen, or even hissing just on smelling her scent. Raven isn't free of blame either, because instead of backing off when hissed at she would get very feisty, including jumping at the screen and even attacking Freya multiple times. As much as I would love to take more time to help them get along, our downstairs neighbors keep complaining about the noise Raven makes at night, and we can't let her our of her room yet.

Story
This is KitKat. She was found outside around October 2023. She came right up to my daughter and wanted attention. We started feeding her and coming out every day to give her attention. In December during the first cold period, we found her sitting on our door mat waiting on us. We brought her in and moved her into our basement. She uses the cat box with no problem, loves wet, food, and dry food and freshwater. I go downstairs multiple times a day to give her attention, and she comes right up to me, sits in my lap and loves to be petted. If I have other things to do down there, she’ll follow me around and talk to me. I have five other cats, but no matter how many times I bring one or two downstairs to see her. She does not care for them. She hisses and keeps moving away from them. I’m looking for a home for her that has adults only is looking for a lap cat. She needs a home that will give her all the attention she wants and spoil her. She does like catnip, treats, and toys.

Story
Oreo 🖤 is a 8-10 year old rescue I got three years ago from the shelter. Sadly, within the last year oreo developed diabetes. There has been many struggles managing the diabetes and many trips to the vet. Unfortunately I’m moving temporarily for a job and my original long-term sitter fell through because of Oreos challenges with diabetes. He’s currently on 4 units on insulin twice a day. Oreo is the sweetest, most affectionate cat I ever met. He’s quick to warm up to people and loves to lay and cuddle. Oreo is also playful and loves the laser pointer. His favorite napping spot are inside boxes. In full transparency, taking care of a diabetic cat is extra work. He requires insulin shots twice a day. And his doses might have to be adjusted over time according to his condition. Although it is still very possible for him to continue living a good life for his older years and with diabetes controlled. Please only adopt with intention of treating his diabetes and the capacity to do so.

Story
Theo is a 3 year old orange tabby with beautiful eyes. He's sweet, cuddly, and playful. He likes to nap on or near his human. He enjoys looking out the window and chasing toys across the house. He was adopted 3 years ago from the Humane Society. Theo thrives when he is the only pet in the household. I think he would do best in a calm and quiet home where he can be doted on.
