Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Sheldon came from a local shelter. They were over full and he was in danger of being euthanized. He is a german shepherd mix. The vet said he is around 2 years old( as of 6-22-23). He is a tall lanky dog, around 65 to 70 pounds. He is a sweet boy and very affectionate. He needs a home with room to run. He is energetic and would need an adopter who can embrace it. He will make THE BEST hiking buddy ever. He likes water to. He would be best in a home where he can be the only dog. If he can't be an only dog he needs a home with a large breed submissive female. He would also do well with puppies. He is doing well with crate training and house training. He will go to his new home current on vaccines, testing, preventives, neutered and microchipped. He will receive a complete physical by our vet prior to going home. He will also be issued a certificate of Health. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Meet Bert & Ernie. Bert and Ernie are brothers who both have cerebellar hypoplasia. Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a malformation of the brain stem that causes them to wobble and fall when they walk. Dont worry though, they will both live long healthy lives and require no special medical care. I am rehoming Bert and Ernie as Ive developed severe allergies to them. They are very low maintenance cats. I give them wet cat food morning and night, and have dry food available for them at all times. Ernie is more of a cuddler than Bert, but Bert still loves the attention. They must be rehomed together as they are bonded brothers.

Hi, my name is L2 and me and my four siblings came into the rescue with our mom!  I LOVE playing with my siblings, with other cats in the rescue, and with my human caretakers. Since I'm still just a little guy and love playing with other cats, maybe think about adopting one of my siblings with me! My human caretakers say that young cats grow up to be wayyyyy better behaved when they have another cat to live beside them, and maybe coming to a new place won't be quite as spooky if I have a friend! Either way, please submit an application with the rescue of you think we could be a good forever family together    *This cat is currently being fostered in Mississippi, transportation to New England is available at an additional cost.*  ##1848815##
