Story
Shy beautiful pantherMontana was living on the street until his feeder and a volunteer with the rescue trapped him and brought him to the rescue. He is is shy at first but once you gain his trust he is very affectionate and loving. He loves to make biscuits, get pets, climb cat trees, and eat treats. He likes to play with teaser toys. He gets along with other cats and is not at all a dominant male. Montana is a lover, not a fighter. He still hides from people with loud voices and when more than a few people are in his living area. He would do best in a quiet home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 21, 2024, 8:07 am

Story
curious black catBeanie was an indoor/outdoor cat who had a few litters of kittens before her former owners asked the rescue for help. She is very curious. She loves to play as well as get pets on her face and under her chin. Sometimes she can be feisty and will bat you once she has had enough pets. However, the sassiness has diminished over time and she is very loving. She has been known to be an escape artist so caution going in and out of doors would be needed for her new family. She peacefully coexists with other cats but doesn't love them. She would do well as your only cat or with a mellow cat sibling.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 21, 2024, 8:07 am

Story
timid, sweet tabby girlThis delightful kitty is a brown tabby named Paula! Paula was brought in as a kitten with her brother from the streets and he’s since been adopted. Paula is a bit timid yet super gentle and loving. She really loves the laser pointer and once she’s comfy you can pet her whole body all over and she rolls all around and purrs and it’s the cutest thing ever. She’s truly hilarious and sweet and would make any family super happy. She gets along with other cats but could also be your one and only. She would be best in a quiet home. Story
sweet black kitten who needs socializationJersey Girl and Roo Special Opportunity Bonded pair   Location: Foster Home in Monmouth County, NJ Jersey Girl and Roo are sisters who were found as tiny, frail kittens, teetering on the brink of death. Rescue Ridge took them in, nursed them back to health with tender care and boundless love. In foster care, they were super loving and gradually learning to trust. However, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, their foster could no longer care for and socialize them. With limited foster options, they were placed in a rescue holding facility. Despite the volunteers' tireless efforts, Jersey Girl and Roo remained utterly terrified . They tried going into a venue to be seen but the stress was too much for them and they shut down. They  have been hanging in a foster home. Since they are shy they will need to be adopted from a fosters house. Underneath their shy exterior they blossom into the most beautiful, affectionate ladies. They absolutely adore other cats and are incredibly feline friendly, always welcoming new feline friends. These 1 year young sisters are inseparable. They sleep together, play together, groom each other, and snuggle often. Roo, a tabby, loves having her back rubbed. Though initially shy when approached face-to-face, she melts into your hands when you pet her back. Jersey Girl, with her beautiful, soft, and silky black coat and a white patch on her chest, falls into a loving trance when you pet around her neck. They both have playful spirits and would make the best addition to a quiet home. These gentle souls would thrive in a home with humans with extra patience . They deserve to finally find their forever home, where they can feel safe, cherished, and loved &#226&#156&#168.  They are spayed, microchipped, SNAP negative and up to date on vaccines. Are you their happily ever after? Story
Stella would be a great companion for a home with no other pets. Stella currently lives with 3 other cats, 2 males, 1 female, and sometimes does not use the litterbox in protest. She is fine with our female, but seems to dislike the males and we think this is why. She definitely knows how to use the litterbox, but as we believe does not want to use either of the 2 litterboxes because of the males. When Stella does not use the litterbox, we find her urinating in the shower or tub, but she will do #2 in the litterbox. Stella has a fun personality and enjoys affection and will sit on your lap for a while and purr very loudly. She also talks often and is extremely patient while her breakfast and dinner are being prepared. She actually behaves better than 2 of the other cats we have. She is the only cat we can have out while we eat dinner, she just lays in the dining room with us and will not beg or try to jump on the table. $0 adoption fee because we just want Stella to go to a good home.

Story
Bean is a sweet little soul who will love you so much. She wasn’t very well taken care of and lived on the street before the foster family we adopted her from rescued her so she can be quite timid, doesn’t really like being picked up too often and likes to stay to herself sometimes, but when she gets used to you, she loves to cuddle and loves belly rubs! She’s not really a lap cat but will curl up next to you (or sometimes on you!) if you’re laying down. She loves to sit and lay in windows, especially if they’re open. She’s around 6 years old. When we adopted her 3 years ago we were told she was between 2 and 4 years old so now she’s really between 5 and 7 years old. Her left ear is tipped because she was spayed during her time without a home and then released back to her neighborhood. She’s microchipped but she’s also not one to go outside so you won’t have to worry about her running out if the door is left open. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
