Story
Gardenia was adopted by a roommate of mine in 2017, concurrently with the adoption of another kitten by a second roommate, Scarlette. Upon both of my roommates leaving a few years later, they decided they no longer wanted to/were able to care for each of their cats, and because I had built up a relationship with both of them, and due to their bonded nature, I agreed to take over care of them. Unfortunately, I've developed debilitating allergies to them both, and can no longer care for them myself. Gar is very shy, but loves attention once you've earned his trust. He may have been abused prior to his adoption, because he is extremely skittish. However, with age and love he's come out of his shell quite a bit, and loves pets (his fur is very silky and soft). He does need gentle care, however, to coax him out. I spent a lot of time doing that part for you, but he does need adjusting to new things. He has never bitten beyond li'l love bites, but he swipes when scared. He is not declawed.

Story
Khaleesi and Je t’aime are bonded sisters that have been together since birth! They were born on August 9th 2022 at 11PM, making them leos! They look almost identical but can be told apart by Khaleesi’s white spot on her chest and their distinct personalities. Khaleesi is out going, playful, confident, and loving. She has a sensitive stomach and loves canned cat food. Je t’aime is shy, a little skittish, and calm but will love on you when she gets comfortable. Together they can get a little crazy, they love to run around and chase each other as they play fight. They’re the most adorable pair though, their personalities balance each other out. Everyone who meets them falls in love! (I will include food, litter box, carriers, toys, treats, etc)

Janey (born: 12/12/2020) is a soft, quiet, demure American Shorthair (we believe) kitty who currently weighs 13 pounds. Story
Spaghetti, like many other friendly cats, was thrown out to the street only because he was not neutered the owners did not like the strong smell of his urine and decided to get rid of him. The night I found him he was crying and asking for food. I offered food, he began eating and let me bring him home. He has been fully vetted and he is ready to go to a loving home.

Story
Schmatta was running around the neighborhood and being fed in our neighbor’s backyard. Around 4 months ago we took over some of the care of that neighbor’s cats when she became very ill. Schmatta continued to be fed outside by us, in the neighbor’s yard and on a street nearby. We became particularly concerned about him because he didn’t get along with the other street cats and didn’t have good street crossing instincts. We had already started feeding on our front porch and hoped that he would start feeding at our house and stop crossing the street. He started eating on our porch and following us, like a dog, to our neighbor’s house. He was adapting to us, but we were not convinced that he’d ever get along with other cats or happily stay indoors. He has since come into our house. He’s turned out to get along with other cats…mostly. He does not appear to have any interest in outside. He also has turned out to be a lap cat that likes tummy rubs. Who knew? We are guessing that his age is between 1-2 years old. Sadly, that means that he’s too young for people of our age. This is why we’re looking for a permanent home for him. Someone will end up with a great cat. IF INTERESTED, Email : amada1021@gmail.com Or text (201) 867-8543 Adoption fee and adoption protocol is mandatory

Story
Hi! We are the Seventies Pop Song Sisters! Both of us lived in a managed colony for 13 years, until our feeders and some rescue groups decided it was time for us to come indoors to live out our senior years. We look alike and share common traits. Right now we are learning to trust human companionship, so we don’t yet allow pets but our current foster mom tells us what sweet and easy house guests we are. * We are healthy, though we are entering our golden years so we need a family who will care for us with good vet care, and probiotics in our food for our sensitive tummies * We use our litter boxes like pros, are patient while our meals are prepared, though this may be the time you will hear Sweet Caroline cry: she doesn’t want to be forgotten! * We spend a lot of time sleeping and prefer soft spots that allows us to feel safe; right now we curl up in an open playpen—we are ground dwellers vs being girls who like to climb * We are comfortable with other cats so long as they aren’t highly territorial; though we are not at all aggressive we may not be the best pair for kids since we aren’t fully socialized * We do play with toys and use cardboard scratchers, and have been known to watch TV, which is new for us! Georgy Girl (named after The Seekers song from the 70s) has a slight eyelid issue but this isn’t bothering her. So it shouldn’t bother you. She is more timid than me (Sweet Caroline, named after Neil Diamond’s song) but in time, we likely will allow humans to touch us. We do enjoy attention and conversation, so if you are looking for easy, breezy companions we come as a match set and would love to find our forever home!

Story
Mini Bini is the quintessential feline BFF. In fact, she's purrfect in every way!! Mini is approximately 7 years old and looking for her new human. This little beauty was rescued from horrific conditions, but the past is now behind her. Mini Bini went off to a wonderful home, but sadly the adopter moved and couldn't along this cutie pie. She's now ready and waiting for her new permanent home! Mini Bini is VERY low key but does require a few "super" simple things if becoming a new family member! * A bed where she can sleep (preferably yours) for cuddling any time of the day * Yellow catnip banana and string toys (also loves silvervine for the teeth)! * Dry food only (trust us when we say we've tried every brand of wet). She's a kibble girl at heart. * Water fountain (favorite past-time is to watch water running) * One or two sunny windows where Mini Bini can keep an eye on the world outside. * Preferably the only cat in the house. Mini Bini doesn't want to share you with another feline! Added bonus: Mini Bini is confident, curious and loves bonding with her human. Her purrfect home is with an adult who is home to give her lots of affection and playtime in a peaceful environment. In turn, Mini Bini will use the litter box perfectly, charm you with her cute personality and may occasionally give you a scalp massage (she loves playing with hair)!! Mini Bini is absolutely adorable!!!

Hello Hello everyone, Pippa here! I am a young, (2 year old) Tuxedo girl looking for my new family. I know there are so many other tuxies out there but let me break down why I am EXTRA SPECIAL: • I am a chatty chatty girl that loves to talk to you … I always have so much to meow about. In fact, I sleep on my foster dad's side of the bed every single night! • I would love to have another feline buddy as my playmate, but also I am totally ok being the only apple of your eye, as long as there's enough in your house to keep me entertained! • I am in purrrfect health and up to date with my shots Want to learn more? Story
Meet Busta Rhymes and his "life partner", Sunshine. Busta Rhymes lived a hard life on the streets as basically a blind cat trying to survive. After a major eye surgery and losing one eye, Busta now only has partial vision but gets around perfectly fine. Sunshine ended up in a hoarding situation in Brooklyn that made national news. She lived in very tight quarters and in a small crate with 3 other cats. She's curious, funny and not at all a "hider". She's out and wants to be seen! Through pure luck, the two bonded cats ended up in the same foster home to heal, and BOOM!! Just like that, they were attached at the hip. Always together, always in sync. Busta protects Sunshine, and together they make the cutest pair. If you're looking for CHILL cats and want a rewarding experience, look no further. Busta loves to be pet once he warms up to his new human, and Sunshine will follow you endlessly until you feed her a churu (favorite food in the whole world). A few other cute traits on this little couple: * Because he only has the one eye, Busta always looks like he's winking, which is adorable. * Busta's head is enormous, giant like a bowling ball. That just meant that there is more room to scratch his head! * Busta might not be a lap cat per se, but he loves to come up on the couch and sleep next to his human. He curls up and puts his head against the arm of the couch and hunkers down. He purrs a lot when he is petted! * Busta's favorite toy is the fishing pole! He runs and grabs the string while Sunshine watches, curious but not yet getting into the action herself. * Busta and Sunshine do something that looks like kitty kissing! * Sunshine likes to rub up against things - doorframes, the cat carrier, etc. She is now starting to rub up against human legs! * Sunshine has the sweetest, cutest, tiniest little meow. * Sunshine is extremely smart- she knows her name and will come running when called. * Busta and Sunshine use their litter box perfectly. * They love each other very much! Busta Rhymes and Sunshine are looking for a calm home with an experienced adopter who has the time and patience to let the couple continue to blossom. It's such a rewarding experience to take in two bonded cats. They're very low maintenance and super easy to fall in love with!! Want to learn more?
