Sully has come such a long way since we took him in. We have given him persistant cuddle sessions, and he has grown in to a sweet lap cat. He's fine with nice dogs and other cats. He is not child tested. Sully will likely be a little shy at first in a new home, but once he settles in, he will be your "end of the bed buddy." Adoption applications are only available to those over 21 who live in the Wilmington, NC area. We do not adopt outside of a one hour radius. Hi everyone! My name is Austin, and I am looking to re home my cat Fiona. She was previously my older sisters cat and I took her in about 3 years ago. My work schedule has become much busier recently and I am also traveling more often. I cannot always find a sitter for her nor can I afford to board every time ( she also does not get along with other animals or children so that makes it more difficult). She’s a wonderful cat, very sweet and loving. It takes time for her to warm up but after she will be playing and begging you for Fancy Feast. She can be quite vocal at times when she wants something. I will take her to the vet before re homing to make sure shots/vaccs are all updated, etc. I’m sure she would appreciate and be more comfortable with someone who has a bigger living space and access to a backyard/ patio that is safe and that she can play in from time to time. She is an indoor cat, not meant for outside full time, but likes to sunbathe and play in the grass.

03/21/24 Meet Skeeter!! Poor Skeeter has been at the Humane Society since he was 8 weeks old. This beautiful boy can not catch a break, at 2 years old Skeeter is now on a special diet for the rest of his life because he had a urinary blockage. Thankfully he is okay now and would love to be the only animal in a home to get all the attention that he has missed out on.
