Story
Marceline is a very loving and funny girl, and an absolute DOLL with people and kids. I found her as a stray about 6 months old in the summer of 2023, she ran straight to me and hasn't left my side since. I was blown away by her boldness, her unique coat pattern, and her gentleness. LOVES: Pom poms, being brushed, getting pets, dangle toys, all food, drinking from a fountain or tap, getting help stretching, cardboard scratchers, attention TOLERATES: nail trims (she's not happy but very gentle), wearing a harness to sniff outside, most other cats, vet visits, being held DISLIKES: large dogs Unfortunately, Marceline has never gotten along with my older female cat who lost her lifelong bonded mate shortly before Marcy joined our house. I have tried everything, spoken to a vet, even moved to a larger apartment. I think Marceline would thrive in a 1 cat household, or with very sociable cats. She needs and deserves all the attention!!

Story
🤎 Meet Nutmeg – A Quiet Survivor with the Sweetest Heart 🤎 Nutmeg is a 4-year-old boy who has been through more than most — and his journey makes his gentle love even more special. As a feral kitten, Nutmeg took a long time to learn that people could be kind and safe. With patience, consistency, and love, he has made incredible progress and now truly enjoys human companionship. He loves scratches, treats, and playtime, but he’s also perfectly happy relaxing nearby and soaking in the calm of a peaceful home. Nutmeg is still shy, and a new environment will take some adjustment, so he’s looking for a quiet, low-stress forever home with someone who understands that trust is earned — and incredibly rewarding. Once he feels safe, Nutmeg is affectionate, loving, and an absolute joy to be around. He does well with other cats but would prefer a home without dogs or young children, as too much noise or activity can be overwhelming for him. ✨ Nutmeg at a Glance: • 4 years old • Neutered, fully vetted & microchipped • FIV/FeLV negative • Former feral kitten who has made amazing progress • Sweet, gentle, and loving • Enjoys scratches, treats, and playtime • Loves to relax and chill • Gets along with other cats • Best in a quiet home • No dogs, no young children 💛 A Note About Joy: Nutmeg’s sister, Joy, is also here at the rescue. While they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together, they come from similar backgrounds and have both made wonderful progress on their journeys from feral kittens to loving companions. Nutmeg is ready for a forever home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace and be loved for exactly who he is. If you’re looking for a gentle, grateful companion with a heart full of quiet love, Nutmeg may be the one you’ve been waiting for. 🤎🐾

💛 Meet Joy – A Gentle Soul Learning to Trust 💛 Joy is a 4-year-old girl who has come such a long way — and her journey is truly something special. She is looking for a quiet, low-stress home with an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. For the right person, watching Joy blossom is incredibly rewarding. She does well with other cats but would prefer a home without dogs or young children, as too much activity can be overwhelming for her. ✨ Joy at a Glance: • 4 years old • Spayed, fully vetted & microchipped • FIV/FeLV negative • Former feral kitten who has made wonderful progress • Sweet, gentle, and quiet • Loves treats and playtime • Enjoys relaxing and observing • Gets along with other cats • Best in a calm, quiet home • No dogs, no young children Joy is proof that love, patience, and understanding can truly change a life. Story
We got Bagheera as a 10 week old kitten. He is a little over a year old now. He is a very good cat and he is very cute! However my household has changed and life has become too complicating and unaffordable to keep him. I recently had a newborn and taking care of my partially disabled father along with 3 other children. I have another cat who is my first cat and about 3 1/2 years old and he is on prescription cat food both dry and wet which has become very expensive. I cannot continue to afford diff diets nor can I afford to let them both eat the same food. Bagheera constantly steels the prescripted food from my other cat, costing me dbl the servings a day. And although a good cat, he has become even more skittish with my father moving in and the new baby. I tried feliway and several other things and it did not seem to make a diff. I truly feel a new home with a calmer setting would suit him well and he will be more relaxed.
