I’m looking to find the perfect home for my grandmother’s sweet cat. She is 9 years old and is truly the biggest cuddle bug. She loves to be close to her person, will happily snuggle with you for hours, and has so much love to give. Unfortunately, she just isn’t adjusting well to my other animals. I’ve given her time and have tried introducing everyone slowly, but she’s still very scared and spends most of her time hiding under the couch. It’s clear she would be happiest in a quiet home where she can be the only pet and get all the love and attention she deserves. I never imagined I’d have to make this decision, and it absolutely breaks my heart because I wish I could keep her. More than anything, I just want her to be happy and feel safe again. This incredibly handsome, classic-looking black kitten came to Salty Paws as a stray, so we don't know much about his backstory. George LOVES the cattery at Salty Paws! He is pals with everyone and generally can be found hanging out on the cat trees. He makes use of the whole climbing area, yet he isn't wild, just playful. George can be a little shy until he knows you are going to be kind to him and then he loves, loves pets, playing, toys, purring and most especially hanging out with his other cat and kitten pals. He has formed a close friendship with our only other black (male) kitten named Theo. So they would make an amazing duo! If you love black cats as much as we do, our little George is going to be a stunner. He should do great in any cat-centric, kind indoor home and could be a great friend to an existing cat/kitten looking for a friend, with Theo (or one of our other cats or kittens); or he can be your spoiled one-and-only. George is about 6 months old, is neutered, fully vaccinated and FIV/Leukemia negative. He has impeccable litter box habits and is a neat and clean little dude. Calico Kitten is a polydactyl, she is currently safe and in a home in Savannah, GA. An active investigation is occurring regarding the deaths of many outdoor cats and kittens in the local area, many of these cats and kittens are members of Calico Kitten's family.
