Booty was a kitten from a litter at our house. I named him Booty because all four paws have white on them. Very sweet cat.

Story
Coco is mostly a sweet cat, and we never foresaw her becoming a problem. But then she started using the bathroom in places she wasn’t supposed to like house plants and carpets. We tried giving her away to a friend of mine which didn’t even last a day. Coco isn’t very good with new people which is why I need an experienced adopter for her. We are willing to give her up for free although it’s hard to do.

Story
Moxy is a sweet 11yo short hair born on May 25, who I have had since she was born in Texas. She is playful and loves her people, but can be skiddish around new people or new situations. She is hilariously quirky and will come running any time she hears a can opening or the freezer drawer open for ice cream looking for a bite herself. She is independent, loves being pet on her terms but also just enjoys being in the same room next to her people. We have another cat and 2 dogs which she tolerates but does not prefer to play with. We think she would best be suited in a house as the only cat with people who are home frequently and can give her the attention she needs, which has become the hardest part for us. She does great with older kids 5+ who understand pet boundaries, but is not great with young kids. Moxy is litter trained and will use normal clumping litter or crystal litter, we currently use Pretty Litter. She is also declawed, so should be kept indoors only.

Story
Velcro is an extremely sweet cat who has never met a stranger in his life. His favorite pastimes are watching Cat TV, snuggling with his human, and playing fetch with his catnip mice. He has a lot of energy for his age (somewhere between 5-8 years old) and loves constant affection. He was acquired from an adoption shelter in June 2023 in New York after a year’s stay. His original origins are unknown, but he was found as a stray in a hoarding house. Although Velcro is an easy-going cat, he does have feline herpes virus, which complicates things. He does have to be given I-lysine and gabapentin daily to stop his flare ups. Although Velcro is a great beginner cat temper wise, his diagnosis is not beginner friendly. Extensive research on the disease should be done before consideration. I wasn't aware of Velcro’s condition before adopting him, and my lifestyle of being a travel nurse does not allow him to thrive with his diagnosis. Looking for a stable loving home for him.

Story
Duke is a very snuggly cat who wants to cuddle a lot. He is overweight but we haven’t had any complaints from the vets we have used. He can be quite social with adults. Given the opportunity, he does love to sleep in bed with you – be it in your arms, or some spot nearby on the bed. He will enjoy laying in your lap and getting attention while you watch TV. If you have guests, he will likely try to snuggle them as well. He is not a huge fan of cat toys but does enjoy laser lights and boxes. He would be best suited in a home where his owner will be home a lot and able to provide him with a lot of attention, and not spending all of their time away from the house. He needs to go to a house with no other cats, young children or dogs or he will become stressed. He will come with a bunch of pet food and a litter box.

Story
Rogelio is the sweetest and best boy who needs someone that is home often. As a baby kitten. He spent the first year or so as an indoor outdoor cat, then moved full-time indoor. A little over a year ago he ended up having surgery on his bladder to clear out stones and crystals, and was given a special diet. Unfortunately the diet was incorrect, and he had another surgery a couple months later, and another change to his diet. That died changed was effective in preventing the stones and crystals from reoccurring, however, he has since developed an unknown membrane over a portion of his bladder. Rogelio has his bladder expressed several times a day. He handles it very very well, and is generally good overnight without an accident. I express him first thing in the morning, then every 4 to 5 hours after that until I go to bed around 10:00. I've been doing my best for the last few months, but he really needs somebody to be home with him during the day.

Story
She may take some time to get comfortable with you, but once she does, this tiny little cat has shockingly loud purrs. Prefers to be in your lap, getting “scritches” (she likes when you wriggle your fingers into her fur, along her ribs and sides, almost like scratching an itch). If you put your feet up and watch a show, she will happily be in your lap getting rubs, or actually watching the show with you. From time to time, depending how you bond, she may want to sleep in your arms at night, if allowed. As for toys, she will play with a variety of toys and laser lights. We had a meerkat “kicker” toy that she sometimes would go wild on. She likes a calm quiet atmosphere and softer, quieter voices. She needs to go to a house with no children or dogs or she will become stressed. Will come with food, auto-scooping litter box+litter, scratching post, cat carrier, harness.
