Story
Really close to taking him to the shelter as he does not get along with my boys, please give this boy a loving home! Found him on Halloween night following around trick or treaters and took him in since it was going to get so cold that night. He is missing an eye but I’ve taken him to the vet and checked for a chip and he’s all clear! He’s become a fat lazy cat at my house but I have three other cats already and want him to get all the love and attention he deserves!

Story
Meet Leah the cat affectionately known as “Mow Mow” (rhymes with cow not like lawn mower). Mow Mow is our grumpy cat. She mostly keeps to herself and does not favor other animals, but not violent. However, out of the blue, she will crawl up in your lap and let you love on her. It becomes bragging rights of sorts around the house of who Mow Mow lets love on her that day. Like an independent teenager who comes and reminds you of their loving younger self. We are seeking to rehome Mow Mow as she has started showing her disdain for our new additions (twin babies) by spraying our daughter’s room. So who has enough love in their heart for a grumpy cat? Darla is up to date on vaccines, spayed and litter box trained. She is FIV positive, so needs to be adopted to a home as an only cat or with other FIV+ cats. Darla actually has a companion in her foster home named Nash, who is also FIV+ and they would do best adopted together as a pair, as they are now bonded. Darla has been with us at Max's Hope longer than any other animal, and deserves a home to call her own! Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under. Please check your information carefully. We will process your information and an email will be sent to the email you provide on the application within 48 hours. Story
Nancy was adopted in early 2015 when my daughter lived in Hawaii. While living there, she became aware of the feral cat population in the area and did her best to find loving homes for many kitties. She fell in love with all of them and brought them with her to her husband's next duty station state-side. When our daughter's marriage unfortunately ended, she and our grandson came to live with us in Nashville for the next 3 years. We already had 3 cats & a dog in addition to our daughter's cats so we ended up with quite a house full of animals. Due to medical problems, our daughter was not able to take her cats with her when she got a place of her own and it became too much for my husband and I to handle. We have found a good home for two of the cats and still need a loving home for Nancy as well as for Daisy. We love both these cats dearly and and desire to place them with people who will love and care for them. Please help us find a loving home for our cats.
