Darlene buffed up first among the family of 5 kittens and prowled around her surroundings like she was scouting all the places to hide and attack. She watches everyone with stealth, especially her older brother Audie who pretends to rule the roost. She, and we, know who really commands. This little lady takes no attitude from the others -- they pounce on her and she wrestles them to the ground placing a paw on top. But also like her namesake, Darlene earns more than respect from the others... she earns their love and loyalty. It's that something special, that feminine sweetness, that comes through and draws you in. Darlene turns on that charm and you just can't help but want her to love you too. Sweet Stormy sports a stunning black and white tuxedo coat with a white bib that stretches up to form a little mustache under her nose. Her fur is silky soft and she arches when she rubs against you and you caress her. Ms. Stormy got her name when she came to us during a week of summer thunderstorms and her foster found her hiding under the bed in fear… needless to say loud sudden noises are not her favorite thing! Stormy is very trusting of all people but does need a little time before becoming comfortable enough to do her favorite thing – sit in your lap! Once she gets there, that’s all she’d like to do! This kitty thrives on being stroked and nuzzled by her favorite person. Stormy is ok with other cats and also enjoys playtime especially with her human or all by herself. What Stormy would love most though is a house with people who love to give their cat(s) affection… she’d thrive in a house where she could be a lap kitty and stroked when her humans come nearby. She's a sweet girl with some eye problems. Very affectionate, cuddly, playful. I do not know her age or medical history, she was found mid October, no owner found. We would keep her but my cats do not like other cats and they have scared this poor girl and she will not leave her corner. She did try to bond with them but they wont have it. She needs someone to give her a loving home where she can feel safe and grow.

My name is Cupcake! I’m a 3.5 year old, male,13 pound kitty in search of a new family. My previous human had to move into rehab indefinitely, so my mother Sierra and I boarded the Ark. While we are very affectionate with each other we do not have to be adopted as a pair. I was previously spayed. I’ve been to New Hope Pet Vet where Dr Casey DeCook became my veterinarian. She completed both physical and dental examinations on me. I was deemed healthy My vaccinations were updated. I had a fecal analysis and am currently on flea tick and heart worm medication. I am litter box trained and play well with the other cats. I will be adopted within a two hour drive radius, and be an inside only kitty. Gabby is a very loving kitten, she loves to play and run. She has been an inside kitty. I'm just not home enough for her.

This sweet guy showed up in the tree by our deck. He was immediately friendly, loving, and charming. It was obvious that he was a house cat (he was terrified of being outside) and has had a lot of attention. He loves to be held like a baby and pulls your face down for kisses. He is very talkative and enjoys carrying on a conversation with anyone who will listen and loves being a lap cat (His preferred place for a nap). He also still plays like a kitten. He enjoys chasing nerf balls, laser pointers, and almost any type of cat toy. He really needs to be an only cat. He is great with our kitten, but fights with our adult girl cats. He would also do well with a family that has older kids who can play with him to help curb his high and fun energy. We have searched and searched for his owners to no avail. We are not sure why, but we think that he was possibly abandoned.
