Story
This is Starfire. She is a sweet orange tabby that loves everyone *including other cats*. She is 8 months, so she’s still a baby. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She’s very much an orange tabby so she’s very rambunctious, love to play, and she very much loves to cuddle. She lovessss food and is very vocal when I am preparing it. She loves rubbing her head on feet *it is her favorite past time* but she also likes biting feet, so beware. She loves climbing things, but she is not too bright. That’s the main reason I’m rehoming her. I have a lot of high areas in my house that I can’t block off, and she is a little Houdini with everything that I do block off. So I would recommend a home that has safe climbing options just in case she decides to risk her life . She is extremely curious and loves checking out new areas. I fully believe she would love to be on a harness and be outside *she does show a lot of interest when I go on my balcony/open my front door*

Story
Dear Friends, I am looking for a permanent, loving home for Ticket, a gentle and resilient cat currently being cared for by a retired, stay‑at‑home caregiver. After being found abandoned, Ticket has blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion who loves to snuggle once she feels safe. Unfortunately, due to significant allergies, her caregiver cannot keep her long‑term. Ticket is now ready for a stable home where she can feel secure, cherished, and part of a family. If you are interested in adopting Ticket or would like more information, please reach out by phone, text, or email. Videos are available upon request. Please be sure you’re truly ready for a cat—she is a sweetheart, and even first‑time pet owners will do wonderfully with her. Cats are wonderfully independent and adapt beautifully with a little patience and love. Best, P.S. If you find that you’re not interested after I reach out, please let me know so we don’t continue trying to connect unnecessarily. She healthy .

Story
Rusty came into my and my husbands life when my husband was ailing with terminal cancer. Rusty provided a lot of love to us both going through very difficult times and my life as a widower. As I have progressed into my 80s my health is now failing and I need to relocate to a Dallas-area memory care facility for both physical and mental needs that is unable to take pets. My son has exhausted all potential places that could let me take Rusty with me. All of my extended family has allergies or works as a long haul truck driver, gone for weeks at a time. Rusty and I have outlived all my friends in Sun City and have been too ill to make friends with my new neighbors for the past several years. So I have no one I know to adopt my only friend I have lived with for the past 8 years alone. Rusty is large, about 12 lbs, and can handle himself outside but prefers to be inside most of the time. He loves to be on laps while watching TV and loves to snuggle. He is litter box trained.

Story
Beautiful, sweet four year-old female in need of rehoming. She is amazing with people, just does not get along with other animals. Great with kids! My brother got her in California before being reassigned from the Navy, he brought her to live with us and we have had her for a couple of months and she has just not warmed up to the other cats at all. She gets mad and isolates herself and it is very sad. We just want her to be happy and get all of the attention she needs!
