Story
Bruce is the name! 🐾 I’m a black Boxer mix ready for my forever home. I came to New Life with a previously fractured leg, but I’m all healed now—and rocking life on three legs! That doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’m living in a foster home with other dogs and cats and I’m fully housetrained.

Story
We're not sure what life he had before us, but he's very slow to warm up to new people. The first full month that we had him all he did was try to hide from us. Unfortunately for him, he's extremely food motivated, so we used that to get him like us enough to get him into a crate and to a foster. Manny has now been in a foster home for a couple of months where he is house trained. Lives with dogs and cats and does well! He would benefit from a home with another dog to both play with and help give him the confidence he needs. A fenced yard would also be good as he loves to be outside playing or laying in the sun. To people he knows, he loves to crawl up and give kisses! He's a very good boy after he gets comfy!

Story
James is one hunky, sassy boy. Hard to believe we originally got him over a year ago at a measly 38lbs. He’s now 72lbs and acts like he runs the place! James is good with cats as well as dogs, so long as they don’t mind being bossed around occasionally. He knows how to sit, stay, and takes treats gently. Great at our events! He is not destructive but does have some accidents in the house so should be crated at night and when humans are gone. James often goes out hiking with some of our volunteers and loves it! So, if you enjoy that type of stuff, this is your man!

Story
Nessa was recently surrendered due to personal reasons with the owner. We're hoping nobody holds that against this beautiful girl! From the looks of her body and skin, it looks like she hasn't been properly cared for in some time. She seems to have an allergy, bad crop job on her ears, stained fur from feces and a wormy belly. Alllll that is about to change! She is the biggest sweetheart! All she wants is to look at you with her giant pittie eyes and be loved unconditionally. She seems to know how to sit and shake. Reportedly she will not potty in her kennel unless left in it for long periods of time. (We're unsure what they considered "a long time") She came to us already spayed so her adoption fee is reduced to $150. This will include her DAPPV booster which is UTD per the vet, deworming, current flea and tick, heartworm test, 1 year Rabies vaccine and a microchip. Please call 618-833-4915 to come meet her! Story
Luna is a great little puppers and in search of her furever home! She was an owner surrender due to no fault of her own and she would definitely make someone a fantastic family dog! She was in a home with a toddler and a baby and she reportedly did great with them! She is also so good with all the other dogs and would love nothing more than a family who has some doggo siblings for her to play with! She is also a bit scared of cats so a home with them would be totally fine since she just wants to stay far far away from them LOL! She's fantastic on a leash, does well in her kennel and her favorite trick is to shake your hand every chance she gets! She loves to play with toys and is such a good girl for still being a puppy. She doesn't even chew on things except for her toys or bones! She is super smart and undoubtedly would be a quick learner with literally anything! Her adoption fee is $275 and this will include her DAPPV booster, deworming, spay, 1 year Rabies vaccine, heartworm test and a microchip. Please call 618-833-4915 to set up an appointment to come meet her! Thank you! Are you interested in adopting this pet? Story
Cowboy is such a fantastic dog that has had a rough way to go before he got to us! He came in as a bag of bones. You could count every bone in his body from 20 feet away. He was locked away, all by himself and just blatantly neglected. He is now completely up to weight, healthy and full of life! He is fantastic with other dogs and LOVES LOVES LOVES to play! He immediately thinks every dog is automatically his best friend and especially loves kids! He can be strong on a leash but that's something that can easily be fixed. He is super smart and playful. Plus he doesn't potty in his kennel so he is more than likely house trained! His adoption fee is $275 and this will include his DAPPV booster, deworming, current flea and tick, neuter, 1 year Rabies vaccine, heartworm test and a microchip.
