Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Patch is a 7 ½ yr old neutered miniature bulldog (½ French bulldog & ½ English bulldog) that loves napping in the sun, laying between your legs under a blanket, and alerting you to bunnies or squirrels in the yard. Unsure how he is with cats or children – he can be stubborn and get anxious. Other dogs ok but ONLY if non-aggressive. His mom is moving to another state and is unable to keep him but is devasted at the thought of giving him up and prays to find him a LOVING and very PATIENT home that can give him the great life he deserves. He’s a true bulldog and comes with skin allergies & stomach sensitivities, but he’s also a quirky, curious, funny little boy that makes his mom laugh every day. A bulldog’s needs can be expensive, but his are totally manageable with easy but consistent care. If you have prior experience with bulldogs and can commit to opening your heart to give PATCH a forever home, PLEASE contact me.

Meet Peppermint Pixie Queen - a beautiful, energetic, and sweet boxer who is looking for her forever home! She's the perfect snuggle buddy who loves to sleep in bed and might even snore a little, ok maybe a lot...and loud. She can be a bit shy when new people enter the room without me, but once she knows she isn't in danger, she'll shower you with slobbery kisses!  This lovable boxer is still learning about toys and bones, but she absolutely adores peanut butter! Peppermint Pixie Queen is incredibly tolerant and is learning when to dial back her playfulness with kitties. She's recovering well from hip surgery and is using her leg about 90% of the time. We still do her stretches and she doesn't mind them but gently let's me know when she has had enough.    Just a heads up, Peppermint Pixie Queen can be a bit messy when she drinks, but that's part of her charm! She's a social butterfly who loves being around people and will let you know if anyone gets too close to her house with her alert barks. On walks, she's friendly but might pull on the leash if there are too many exciting things around, so night walks might be the best time for her adventures.    If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion, this boxer is the one for you! Let's help her find her forever home by sharing her story far and wide.    Peppermint Pixie Queen is potty trained and has had zero accidents.  She is kennel trained but will escape if put in there 3x in one day. She's only been around cats with me and she has learned to play more gently, ignore the cat, and stop when she's getting too rough.  Peppermint Pixie Queen is an absolutely fantastic car rider! We are working on leash manners such as pulling and darting behaviors.     Peppermint Pixie Queen loves sunshine, watching traffic and people, all of the people. She does get scared if you have a stick or broom in your hand and will cower and run away. She has a loud bark that rattles the windows, but stops as soon as I come to see what's upsetting her.  She is very polite and doesn't get into things that don't belong to her. Some vehicles (fire engines with lights and sirens off, postal vans, and some random cars) set her off and she does jerk on the leash and jump to chase them. Once she feels resistance on the leash, she stops but her ears are laid back and it clearly makes her nervous. I haven't figured out what the trigger is yet but she is super strong and will pull someone down if they aren't ready for her to leap out of the blue.   Peppermint Pixie Queen would do well with space to move around.  She does like to burn off energy, so a fenced yard would be great.    To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: May 18, 2024, 5:37 pm
