Story
Nova is a pit bull. She is almost 3 years old. She was born on May 5, 2018. She weighs 67 pounds. Nova has a sister named Athena. They have lived their whole life together, never spending a single day apart. She was taken into the rescue when she was only 10 months old. Sadly, she has spent most of her life at the rescue. At 5 weeks Nova and Athena were put in with a German Shepard and two Labradors and left to live in horrible living conditions. The only interaction they had with people would be once a day when they got fed. The other dogs have been adopted. But being so young, Nova and Athena developed an unbelievable bond together. They never fight over anything, whether it be a toy or food. They will both curl up together in the same dog house. Because of their bond, we will only allow them to be adopted together. They are both crate trained, up to date on all shots, spayed, and microchipped. The adoption fee for each is $125. They deserve to know what life is beyond the rescue. If you would like them to know a loving home, please fill out an adoption application!

Story
Hi everyone!  My name is Silver!  Can you guess why?  Yep, I have a pretty silver coat and my fosters thought that would be a great name and so do I!  My mom showed up at the house of a nice family already pregnant with me and my brothers so I actually know my birthday which is 1/27/22!  I'm kind of in that teenager range and love to run and play.  I could use a kid to play with!  I'm smaller than my brother but my foster mom said that makes me a good size for my forever family.  She said that I may be small in size but I have a big heart.  Not sure what that means but I do love people and playing with other dogs.  My foster mom said I learn best one-on-one.  I just like it because I get all the treats!  But I like sharing a dog bed with my dog brother/sister as much as I like being next to my person! She also called me a velcro dog because I like being where my people are.  That sounds like a good thing!  One last thing, I'm a girl that likes a clean room so I save my potty breaks for outside when my foster family takes me out!  I'm excited to meet my forever family soon!  Is that YOU?  carerescueok.org ##1540022##

Story
Jujubee (or Juju) is a very sweet mixed breed. According to Siri she’s a Bull Terrier/Weimaraner mix! She will greet you with wags and a toy in her mouth almost every time you see her. She has a lot of energy so an active owner would be ideal for her as she LOVES to play chase and tug. Juju would love a companion to play with, but she can be a little rough sometimes. Although she does not do well on a leash right now, she does well with a daily routine and just needs someone to work with her to teach her basic commands and provide her space to play. Juju has a very sweet disposition and just doesn’t know her strength! (She is not recommended for a home with small children.)
