ATTENTION: These animals are strays and were found without an owner. They are currently in a stray hold period and are not yet available for adoption. SoHumane will hold all stray dogs and cats for a minimum of 7 days, starting from the day they are brought into our shelter. If you believe this animal is yours, please come to visit us at SoHumane with proof of ownership: 1.    Valid Identification: If the owner can provide a government-issued ID that matches the name and address associated with the pet's microchip or license. 2.    Microchip Registration: If the owner's contact information is registered with the pet's microchip, and they can provide documentation or proof of registration. 3.    Veterinary Records: If the owner can provide veterinary records or other documentation that proves ownership, such as a bill of sale or adoption paperwork. 4.    Photos: If the owner can provide recent photos of themselves with the pet or photos that show unique identifying features, such as markings or scars. To ensure the health and safety of all animals at our shelter, SoHumane has established a policy that every animal brought in as a stray will receive basic vaccines and microchipping upon arrival. By vaccinating each animal upon arrival, we can help prevent the spread of disease to other animals at the shelter and reduce the risk of illness for the animals in our care. Microchipping each animal also helps to ensure that if the animal is lost again in the future, they can be quickly identified and reunited with their owner. This helps to prevent animals from becoming long-term residents of our shelter It is important to note that the animal may be receiving further medical treatment, as determined by our Vet Care Team. We prioritize the health and well-being of all animals in our care and will do our best to ensure that this animal receives the appropriate medical attention.

Story
This cutie is extremely loving once gaining her trust. Found one day in the neighborhood we've been keeping a close eye on her up until we manged to bring her inside; we've given her a bath and checked for fleas. We believe that she is only 5-6 months old. Currently this household has way to many pets (2 dogs and 4 cats), as much as we would love to keep her we unfortunately can't. Unsure if she can be with other pets although we do believe so! She's become friendly with the 4 others cats, and neutral towards the dogs (little dogs). She does have an injury on one her back paws which only appears to be one her toes, I am currently getting this treated but only appears to be a cut that she got while being outside. Only fee is giving her lots of love!

Story
Bubba is estimated to be around five years old. He enjoys burying himself under blankets for naps, sitting with (or on) us to sleep and loves to play. He is an extremely affectionate, loving, and cuddly cat! We love this cat but are no longer able to take care of him due to finances and relocating, we never intended to adopt another cat permanently and unfortunately do not have the money to continue to take care of him. We are hoping for a good home for him where he can enjoy getting lots of cuddles and love.
