Meet Claire, a beautiful and well-mannered girl with the sweetest personality! Weighing in at about 75 lbs, this gentle giant is kennel trained, keeps a clean space, and is already learning basic commands like “sit.” She’s been very quiet and well-behaved, making her a dream to care for. Claire is currently learning to blend in with a group of six other dogs and has shown no reaction to cats so far. With her stunning eyes—one with a unique blue chip—she’s sure to steal your heart. Story
I was searching for a shepherd-type dog and ended up finding exactly what I needed—her brother, Toma. We drove to the shelter to meet him, and as soon as we arrived, his sister ran out of the cage to greet us. She was missing one eye but had the most incredible personality. We couldn’t bear to leave her behind, so we adopted them both. She turned out to be sweet, hilarious, and incredibly smart—sometimes too smart. Sadly, her spay surgery didn’t go well, and she now leaks urine. It’s not constant, but frequent enough that we can’t let her roam freely indoors. There are treatments that could help, but I simply can’t afford the vet bills. Because of this, she spends most of her time confined with her brother, who has his own issues. She’s clever enough to jump a three-foot fence and even open the gate to let herself out. It’s heartbreaking—she deserves a better life. One where she can run, play (without escaping), and curl up on the sofa like any happy dog should.
