Rue, a beautiful 1 yr old Anatolian mix, is on the hunt for her forever home. She found a bestie at her foster home in the form of the family cat where they enjoy sunbeams together! She also gets along with all sizes of dogs and is really a gentle soul. Rue is housetrained and not a huge fan of crates though she will stay in one if needed. She would do best with an active family and a big yard to hang out with her peeps and maybe another dog! We are unfortunately needing to rehome our sweet dog! She is 1/2 Anatolian Shepherd and we think the other 1/2 is a bird dog or Brittany. She a medium sized dog that does shed some, but if you keep up with her coat, it’s not too bad. She is super playful, has a ton of energy and honestly, doesn’t really bark at all! She is spayed, vaccinated and has a chip! She loves camping with us, going on walks, and wrestling with her dad! She is crate trained and trained for a couple different commands as well. She needs a home with people that can give her the attention that she needs! Unfortunately, we just can’t give that to her at this time in our busy lives as we are both in school, working full time, and just had a new baby. Sweet Ethel has been shuffled around in her first two years of life. She and her sister Lucy found themselves in the shelter, very young and scared. A nice older couple adopted them together and gave them a home for a year until they were no longer able to care for them so they came to CARE Rescue. This is where we hope their luck has changed. Both girls had the opportunity to go to our STAR Inmate Training Program where they are learning basic obedience and socialization which they didn't get much of with the older couple. Ethel is doing great with her training! She is a little shy and reserved at first but she is gaining confidence every day! She will be graduating at the end of April and we are hoping that she will have someone waiting to meet her and possibly bring her into their family! She is good with other dogs, house and crate trained! Ethel is 1-1/2 yrs old and we think a greyhound/catahoula leopard dog mix! She is really gorgeous! This big guy is Brodi, also known as Colby. he is the perfect example of a gentle giant at 90 pounds. He currently lives with several other dogs, both larger and smaller than him. He also lives with older kids who adore him, and he adores them! He really is the overgrown somewhat clumsy puppy at a year old. He loves to play with other dogs and "fetch".  He is house and crate trained. Brodi can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and becomes your best friend!
