Story
Buster is a big goof ball. He literally will bury his head in your lap when you go to pet him. He is a gentle giant that just wants someone to cuddle up next to, whether it's a beloved human (probably female) or dog sibling (probably female). Haha he is a bit of a ladies' man but definitely can become close to a man too, it just might take a bit of schmoozing! Buster is in heaven in his suburban foster home, where he spends dreamy days frolicking in his big back yard with his dog foster-sister (SNOW! ), keeping a sharp eye out the window (SQUIRRELS! ) or stretched out on the couch for a snooze (he used to live chained to a dog house...imagine how a soft cushion feels for him now!). Leashes used to be his krypton it's, but he's been having many positive experiences and has improved beyond measure. Instead of having a meltdown when he sees a leash, he now gets excited for walks, hardly pulls anymore and even keeps his composure around big scary trucks. Being half Great Pyrenees, Buster is protective of his home, and is very alert when someone new is on the premises. Story
Pearl was born in a field...her mama's owner, a goat farmer, didn't know his livestock guardian was pregnant. She did not come home one evening, and they found her out in a pasture tending to newborn puppies. A rescue group spayed the mom and dewormed the pups, who were then brought to a Walmart parking lot to be given away. Most of them were bouncy, active little guys, but this one was just laying there, panting, hot, laying on old hay covered in urine in a wire crate without the plastic liner, with only dirty water to drink. People were taking free puppies and she was getting picked over, probably because she looked so sick and skinny.Luckily, a kind couple paused on their way through the parking lot, and took pity on this pathetic, ignored little puppy. They scooped her up and took her home and immediately got to work getting her healthy with good food, clean & comfy digs and a consistent daily routine of activity, training and loads of cuddles. She has been thriving and is proving herself to be an exceptionally bright little pup who is eager to engage and learns very quickly. At this young age, Pearl has already shown she has the good nature, smarts, and confidence to be an amazing service dog or perfect best friend. She'd be fabulous at agility or farm work. She says, whatever ya got for me, I'm ready, bring it on!Name: PearlWeight: 14 Pounds today, but she's a growing puppy!Gender: FemaleBreed: Anatolian Shepherd mixColour: Black with red undertones Medical (past and present) & HW Status: Fully vaccinated, healthy little puppy! Story
🐾 Meet Sybil! 🐾 Sybil is a sweet and gentle 7-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, currently tipping the scales at just 9 kilograms. Although she's petite now, she's expected to reach a maximum weight of around 20 kilograms as she grows. Sybil's early experiences have left her feeling a bit uncertain about the great outdoors, as she has spent much of her time at a clinic in Turkey. However, with patient guidance and positive reinforcement, we believe she will blossom into a confident explorer! This lovely girl is eager to find a forever home with adopters who understand her timid nature and are committed to helping her build confidence through gentle socialization. Despite her initial shyness, Sybil has shown a remarkable affinity for humans and is quick to shower her affection on anyone who offers her kindness. Not only is Sybil a friend to humans, but she also gets along famously with cats and other dogs, making her a delightful addition to any pet-loving household. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a precious pup who is waiting to bloom into her full potential, Sybil could be the perfect match for you. Sybil can fly to Toronto or Vancouver when she finds her forever home! If you are interested in adopting her please apply; https://www.cheers2paws.org/dog-adoption-form
