Story
Skeeter is about 1 1/2 yes old per vet. She is still an overgrown puppy. She is mostly housebroken. Around 70lbs and we believe she is an Anatolian shepherd mix. She loves all humans and dogs except for very large exuberant pouncing dogs. She does great with small dogs but the big, hyper ones can irritate her. Skeeter would love having a big yard to roam around in! She believes the couch is her official bed. If she could lay alongside her human on the couch all day she would be content. Skeeter is a very laid back dog and loves tummy rubs. Her only fault is that she can enjoy chewing on occasion!

Story
Rusty was found abandoned, on a county road, in November 2023. Rusty is sweet and affectionate. However, my husband and I are both in our 70’s and he has grown too large for us to handle and our yard is too small for him. He would be great on a farm or ranch or someone with a large yard. Please help us if you can.

Story
LOCATION: Springdale, ArkansasDOB: 04/14/2020Avery is about as perfect as they come. A FUNTASTIC mix of Great Dane and Anatolian Shepherd, she has all the qualities one could hope for in a furry family member. From her striking beauty to her sharp intellect, she checks off every box on the list of “perfect companion”. She is not only well-behaved but also house trained, leash trained, and kennel trained. Her manners are impeccable, and she shows utmost respect by refraining from getting on furniture.Avery's origin story remains a mystery, but her time in a shelter was merely a stepping stone to her transformation into an amazing companion and the start of her next loving chapter in life. With each passing day, she continues to learn, progress and absolutely thrive. She isn't without her quirks tho. She may feel a bit nervous when vehicles pass during walks so a patient adopter can help her overcome that anxiety. When left alone, she has been known to exhibit some creative chewing tendencies, making it important to PUT THOSE SHOWS AWAY...You should know better any way! She is crated when left alone to avoid any temptation. In her interactions with children, Avery shines brightly. She does very well with the three-year-old granddaughter of her fosters, demonstrating her gentle and patient nature. Additionally, she gets along famously with the other resident canines, effortlessly blending into their dynamic. Cats are a bit of a mystery, but there is a likelihood that she could do well, based on her personality. She is treat motivated which makes her an apt student. She has not shown any resource guarding. She would flourish in a dedicated family environment where she can receive the time, attention, and unconditional love she deserves. With her charm, grace, manners and endless affection, Avery is sure to steal your heart. Are you ready to join her as she continues on her next fun filled chapter?========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .For more information, please email us at rescueme@srgdrr.org. Story
Luke is a 2 year old anatolian shepard mix dog who is very loveable and sweet. We have 2 cats that he tolerates. He is the only dog in the home but has lived with other dogs before. He is an inside dog. He loves cold weather. He is good around our small child. He walks on a leash well. He is not "trained" of any kind. We have had some major changes in our life and Luke needs a new loving home.

Story
Naomi’s favorite thing to do is give kisses. Be careful when tying your shoe because she thinks that’s her cue to come lick your face! All the neighbors love her. She's great with people of all ages and even allows small children to pet her head. She see's cats through the baby gate and has no reaction at all, but hasn't been allowed to free roam with them (they aren't nice). She is learning house manners, is crate and leash trained. She sleeps in her crate all night and goes in on her own. Fetch is her favorite game but not the bring it back part. She loves to go on walks and do zoomies in the yard. It's her nature to roam, she will love a large backyard (she's bored in her small foster's yard and has dug some holes), and ideally a farm! But she really loves the air conditioning!
