Story
🐾✨ Meet Mitzi ✨🐾
Mitzi is a 7-year-old (DOB 12.25.2018🎄), 6-pound toy Aussiepoo. Mitzi belonged to the grandma of our rescue president, and found herself needing a new home when she passed away🥺. Over the years, Mitzi has made her way around the family, and as we’ve learned more about what truly makes her happiest, we know it’s time to find her the right forever home 🏡
Mitzi is teeny tiny, incredibly sweet 💕 affectionate, playful (loves to play fetch and carry a toy in her mouth). She’s dog-friendly 🐶, cat-friendly 🐱, potty trained, and prefers to be right by your side at all times. She will follow you everywhere, loves being held, and gets SO excited when you come home 🥹 She is a perfect combination of lap dog and energetic, she definitely is not lazy.
Her ideal home:
🌿 A house with a yard (she loves being outside and does great going potty outdoors)
👩💻 Someone who is home most or all of the time (WFH, retired, etc.)
🐾 A calmer environment - she is in a home with multiple dog and cats currently. 🧘♀️
Mitzi does have a “tiny boss” personality 😅 When other animals get rowdy, she tries to step in and regulate the situation, which isn’t ideal given her size. Because of that, she needs a lower-energy home where she doesn’t feel like she has to be in charge or if she does, she won’t be at risk of being hurt by a larger dog.
We are looking for the perfect fit for Mitzi, not just the first to apply💛 We would also really love a home that’s open to staying in touch so I can see how she’s doing.
✨ Mitzi is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and has no major medical issues
✂️ She will require regular grooming.
