Meet Sage!Sage came into the shelter December 31st found running loose in the city of Alpine. While we knew where Sage belonged, the previous owner sadly did not reclaim her.Sage lived with other dogs so we believe she would be a great addition to a family who already has a dog. She is still working on leash training but so far, we know that, while a little unsure when you first get going on a walk, she still will not pull and does walk fairly well once you get going. The staff found out fairly quickly she does know how to sit and she loves treats!Favorite characteristics are that she loves to play and has a little sassy side, in a good way! She has bursts of energy that are super cute to watch. Come meet Sage today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.

Meet Lucky!Lucky came into the shelter January 20th as a surrender, to no fault of his own, his owner was going through some health issues and could not keep him. Lucky lived with another dog so we believe he would be great in a home that already has a dog. He was great with kids as well. He acts like he has never met a stranger; he loves people! He even went on a walk with a new volunteer his very first day at the shelter. Lucky is potty trained and a pro at leash walking. His favorite things are raw hide treats, milk bones and tennis balls.The staff say they love his pretty blue eyes and how cuddly he is!Come meet Lucky today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
