I took her in from a home that couldn't keep her - too many dogs and didn't want to keep the puppies - but between school and work sadly I don't know if I can make enough time for her right now either, she needs to be house trained but she does ok with walking a leash so far, she's about 3 months old, half German Shepherd half Australian blue heeler, super loving & playful, the gentlest most intentional puppy in the best way, she loves dental bones and bacon dog treats. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and better with cats than I could've imagined. She spreads love & peace with everyone she interacts with, she just needs a loving home with time to train her & play with her, walk with her, and keep her as part of the family.

🐾 Meet Porsha! 💕 Porsha is a sweet, smart girl around 4 years old who is more than ready for the forever home she deserves. Porsha once had a loving home, but when her family moved, they left her behind. She was eventually turned loose outside and left to fend for herself until animal control was able to safely bring her to the shelter. Despite everything she’s been through, Porsha hasn’t let it change her. She quickly made friends with both people and dogs at the shelter, and now that she’s in a foster home, we’re getting to see even more of her personality. ❤️ Porsha loves being outside and takes her backyard patrol duties very seriously. She’s alert and will happily let you know when someone is near the yard, so if you’ve been looking for a dog who doubles as a doorbell, Porsha has you covered. 😂 But she’s definitely not all business. Inside, Porsha is perfectly happy cuddling up with her people or simply lying nearby while everyone hangs out around the kitchen table. At night, she doesn’t need to be kenneled and is content sleeping peacefully on the floor near her people. She gets along with other dogs, although she does like to be the boss of the group. 👑 Porsha is also very reliably potty trained and has done wonderfully when left loose in the house. She hasn’t shown any issues with chewing things she shouldn’t, although she certainly won’t turn down a good bone when one is offered! And did we mention she’s smart? Porsha already knows sit, shake, and lay down. Porsha really is the best of both worlds—a dog who loves being outside, keeps an eye on things, enjoys canine friends, and then comes inside ready to settle down and be close to her people. After being left behind once, this very good girl deserves a family who plans to keep her for good. ❤️🐾
