Weezy, also known as Luise, is a 2-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd with a big heart, a playful spirit, and plenty of personality packed into her adorable little package! This girl loves her toys, her walks, her snuggles, and most importantly, being close to her chosen person. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will happily follow you through life and sneak in plenty of kisses along the way, Weezy might just be your girl! 💋
🎾 Weezy's Favorite Things:
Squeaky balls and crinkle toys? YES, PLEASE!
Chewing on a good bone.
Going for walks and working up to short runs (although she firmly believes the runs should be longer! 🏃♀️).
Snuggling up with her favorite human.
Giving kisses and soaking up affection.
Spending time with her people and being part of the action.
🏡 The Good Stuff:
Weezy is both house trained and kennel trained, giving her a great head start on settling into her forever home. She's great with kids and loves showing her people affection. She has medium-to-high energy and would enjoy an active home that can give her exercise, playtime, mental enrichment, and plenty of quality time together.
Her foster family has also been working with her on basic obedience and manners. She's a smart girl with lots of potential, though she can get a little jumpy when her excitement takes over. Continued positive training will help her polish those skills and become the best companion she can be!
🐕 A Few Things to Know:
Weezy has opinions, and she's not afraid to share them! She can be vocal when playing with other dogs or when supper is running behind schedule. She can also be vocal around her kennel and prefers that other dogs and cats give her space there. She does best eating her meals separately from other pets, too.
Weezy will benefit from a family that respects her need for personal space around her kennel and food, provides consistent boundaries, and is willing to continue helping her practice good manners. Her ideal home will understand that even the sweetest dogs have preferences and will help her feel safe and comfortable.
