Story
Meet Rocket & Drax 🐾🐾 2 years old • Bonded pair • Must be adopted together Rocket: Aussie mix (30 lbs) • Drax: Terrier mix (35 lbs) Adoption fee: $125 for both (partially sponsored) Rocket and Drax are a bonded pair in the truest sense — best friends who have always had each other and truly thrive side by side. When they’re together, they’re calm, confident, and completely content. Being separated makes them anxious, but together they bring out the very best in one another. In foster, they’ve earned full house privileges — and for good reason. Their foster describes them as seriously perfect. They are wonderfully well behaved, fully house-trained, and trusted to stay loose in the home overnight with no issues. They settle easily, have lovely house manners, and are happy simply being near their people. Rocket, the Aussie mix, is the more outgoing of the two — social, curious, and full of personality. Drax, the terrier mix, is quieter and more sensitive, but incredibly sweet once he feels safe. Drax prefers to avoid cats, so a home without cats (or with careful management) would be best. They’re friendly with other dogs, wonderful with kids, and kind to everyone they meet. They know basic commands like sit and crate, relax beautifully in a home environment, and love curling up together after a day of being the “good boys.” Adopting a bonded pair means built-in companionship, less anxiety when left alone, and twice the love in one decision. Rocket and Drax have been waiting since June for someone to see what we see — two gentle, loving dogs who don’t just want a home, they want to keep the one thing that makes them feel safe in the world: each other. If you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for two best friends, Rocket and Drax are ready to fill it. 💛
