Seriously, this tiny little girl has mastered the art of looking at you with those big, soulful eyes like you're the most important person in the entire world. Then, just when you think Gigi Grace couldn't possibly get any cuter, she'll look up at you with what honestly looks like the sweetest little smile. It's game over after that. You're in love and you don't even realize it until she's already stolen your heart. Gigi is the definition of a cuddle bug. She'd happily choose being snuggled up with her people over just about anything else. While she certainly enjoys toys and playing like every puppy should, she's much more interested in being wherever you are. Her foster lovingly calls her "momma's little girl," and it couldn't describe her any better. She is approximately 4 months old and currently weighs just 7 lbs. She is absolutely teeny tiny! We believe she may be an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, but with rescue it's always a mystery and we can never guarantee breed. Whatever her breed mix may be, one thing is certain... she's absolutely adorable. One of our favorite things about Gigi is how naturally gentle and loving she is. She has such an innocent little personality that just makes you want to protect her. She enjoys playing with toys and joining in on puppy fun, but she's definitely more of a people puppy than anything else. She lights up when she's getting attention, happily melts into your lap for cuddles, and seems perfectly content just being close to the people she loves. Gigi is currently thriving in a foster home where she's beginning to explore the world through play, naps, mealtime routines, and gentle socialization. She's fostered alongside her brothers who are nearly twice her size, and honestly... watching this teeny tiny little girl keep up with them is about as adorable as it sounds. She's also living with two adult dogs, including a feisty little 9-pound Chiweenie who isn't afraid to remind the puppies who's in charge and a large adult female dog who has happily stepped into the role of honorary puppy mom. Gigi has done wonderfully with everyone. Like any young puppy, Gigi is still learning all the important puppy skills. She's already crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in her kennel like a little champion. Potty training is still a work in progress, but she's already catching on quickly. All she needs is a family willing to continue providing the routine, structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement every puppy needs while they learn. Welcome Porsche to CCPAL Rescue. Porsche is an Aussie mix is our best guess. She looks like he is mixed with something small. She is about 8 pounds now and should be medium sized full grown. We think 25-30 full grown. She is very sweet, has good eye contact and has a soft coat and down ears. Her coat is really soft. She is active and the group is vocal but not over the top. A person that does not work all day every day for 5 days a week is the best for a puppy. Someone that can work from home some or has partial days or some days off to spend to help your new puppy acclimate is best. You need time to be with your puppy to socialize them and to finish off their puppy training. Porsche was very easy to handle taking his photos and she wasn’t afraid of new people and liked being held. She sat on the table with confidence while we worked with her. She is getting daily attention and holding at the Rescue. She is getting his DHPP vaccinations and dewormed. She is good in her play group. She is kenneled in the evening and is learning to go potty on a wee pad. She is currently at the CCPAL Rescue in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Arlo is his name and his gentle eyes match his heart perfectly! Arlo is currently fostered in a loving home with three kids (ages 4–12), and his daily routine reads like a cozy family story. Mornings start with breakfast and a short walk to the bus stop with the kids, followed by backyard zoomies and toy time with his small dog buddy. But with a little time, a little patience, and a steady routine… on the other side you have the sweetest, most devoted boy who just wants to be close to you. One thing that helps Arlo feel his best is having a canine buddy, especially a smaller dog. He absolutely lights up around his little foster sibling, following along, playing, and gaining confidence just by having that companionship. Bigger dogs can feel a bit overwhelming for him right now, so a home with a smaller, friendly dog or a calm, easygoing larger dog (with a thoughtful introduction and decompression time) would be ideal. Not only do dogs make him feel a little more at ease, Aldo has spent time with a cat and has done well with slow and proper introductions with a cat. Arlo would feel most comfortable in a home with a yard where he can settle in and build confidence at his own pace.
