Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. BRYNN and her siblings were saved from a kill shelter in Louisiana and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 10 October 2023. BRYNN is spayed rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of June 2023 and on 26th October 2023 weighed around 30 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue    YouTube channel    and    photo albums on our Facebook page    to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. BRYNN is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for an adoption fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - As the dogs are in the kennels, we are not able to say how they are with cats. Our pets are fostered and physically located in North Carolina until they are adopted. Once adopted we can transport to you. Our transporter comes north every other weekend. He is cost effective and he can bring your pet to you. We have multiple stops in many north eastern states. Just select the most convenient stop for you. This pup was born to an aussie shep. The dad is rumored to be a golden retriever. This pup was born 7-2-23. This pup is VERY smart and animated. This pup is great with other dogs and cats. This pup is friendly and out going with all humans. This pup is active and playful. We have started potty training and crate training. This pup is current on all age appropriate vaccines, deworming, preventives and microchipped. The adopter will get all the health records with the adoptions. We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on the website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Needs special attention, House-trained,
Story
Welcome Serenity to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mixed dog. She weighs about 45 pounds. She is deaf and only has minor sight in one eye. She gets around like she has all senses completely intact. She is very sweet with all people. She was born without hearing and much sight so she has learned to adapt and when you see her play with other dogs you would not really know. She is great with other dogs her size and gets along in a play group with dogs that are more dominant and bossier. She can go with children. We would like them to be 10 or older. Someone patient with her and gentle in the handling will love this dog. She wants to do what you want and she is gentle, sweet and willing to learn. She is smart and adores attention and being touched. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedder. She would be a great companion for an older couple, older single or someone that is looking for a nice friendly companion. She is good on a leash and follows scent of her person easily. She bonds deeply and quickly. We all love this dog at the Rescue and would really be happy to see her find her forever home. She was found as a stray in Texas and has been with the rescue waiting for her forever home. She is healthy and up on her vaccinations and spayed. She can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Bleu to CCPAL Rescue. We think he is an Australian Shepherd/Husky. He has a beautiful grey and black brindle color. He has a medium length coat. He is decent on a leash, good in his kennel and friendly. Bleu is a social dog and would make an active family a great companion. He would be a great hiking, jogging or outdoor activity dog. He is playful and fun and will make some lucky family a great companion. His best home would be with someone that likes to do things and include their dog in their fun. He would be fine with kids and we like them to be 8 or older. He is getting his vaccines and will be neutered soon. He is in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue. He was pulled from one of the local high kill animal controls around the shelter. They are all pleading for Rescues to open up space so they don’t have to euthanize. Because of the great adoptions we had space. He can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
