Australian Terrier Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier

Female, 1 yr 6 mos
Lodi, CA
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Good with dogs,
Need some sweetness in your life? Lulu will not disappoint you. She is a precious 1.5-year-old, 9-pound, gold and black with white, Australian Terrier / Yorkie mix. She is not hypoallergenic. She has a beautiful, fluffy, soft and scruffy coat.. This beautiful girl was surrendered to AFC with her mate and puppies. Thankfully their family brought them to AFC now they will get the wonderful homes they deserve. She is shy until she warms up and then she becomes a friendly and loving companion. Lulu loves to be near you whether it's relaxing on the couch or snuggling in your bed. She has beautiful warm and expressive eyes. She is the perfect size to go everywhere you go. She loves car rides, especially if she can sit in your lap. She appears to be housebroken. At the sanctuary we use the command "go potty" before taking the dogs outside to do their business, Lulu happily complies. This is a good habit to continue at home. Due to her small size, she should not be left alone outside. She would be happiest in a family home where she gets daily (she may need some leash training) walks and full-time love. Lulu is microchipped and vaccinated. She is scheduled to spayed but we are looking for her home now. She is waiting for her happily ever after. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
