  Meet Sophie     4 years young | ~13 lbs | Yucaipa, CA   Sophie is the sweetest little soul we believe to be an Australian Silky Terrier, part of the Yorkie terrier family. She came into our care through no fault of her own—her momma found herself displaced and made the incredibly selfless decision to do what was best for her beloved Sophie.   Sophie has always been the center of attention, and while this transition has been confusing for her, she remains as loving and gentle as ever. She has always slept right next to her momma and continues that same routine in her foster home. Sophie needs a home where she is welcome to sleep in bed with her person and snuggle on the couch. This is not optional for her—it’s how she feels safe, loved, and secure. Please do not apply unless you are truly happy to share your bed and couch with her.   She can be a little skittish at first, so Sophie will need a home with patience, understanding, and kindness while she settles in. She has done well with the dogs in her current foster home, but if we’re being completely honest, Sophie would be perfectly content being the only dog—the little princess she’s always been.    Sophie’s Details: • 4 years old • Approximately 13 pounds • House trained • Up to date on vaccines • Will be spayed • Good with other dogs, but prefers being the center of attention • Loves snuggling, sleeping in bed, and couch time   Sophie is looking for someone who wants a true companion—one who will be by your side, on your lap, and tucked in next to you at night. Ryder is the total package! This sweet and lovable Cairn terrier mix is the definition of a loyal companion. With a laid-back, easy-going nature, Ryder is happy to hang out with you on the couch or play fetch in the yard — especially if there are doggie snacks involved! Ryder was rescued at 8 weeks old from Hesperia Shelter, with a sibling who passed from parvo soon after they arrived. Ryder never developed parvo and has been healthy since that time. He gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and his non-shedding coat makes him a great option for families who prefer less fur around the house. Ryder’s calm, affectionate, and loyal personality makes him an ideal addition to just about any home. He is microchipped, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
