Hi… I’m Louis V 🐾🤍
I’m a 7-year-old West Highland Terrier with the sweetest little face, soulful eyes, and a soft heart that just needs a little time to feel safe 🥺 I may be shy when we first meet, but give me a few days and you’ll start to see my sweet, silly personality come to life.
Once I trust you, I become the ultimate little Velcro dog—following you from room to room, keeping you company, and soaking up every bit of love and attention I can get 💕 I love cuddles, I love being pet, and if you stop too soon… don’t worry, I’ll gently nudge your hand to remind you to keep going.
I’m crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, house trained, and very smart (especially when snacks are involved). I’m food motivated, eager to learn, and happiest in a calm home with someone patient who understands that trust takes a little time.
✨ My ideal home:
• A calm, patient home where I can warm up at my own pace
• Older kids only (10+)
• Someone who will respect my boundaries and help me feel safe
• A cozy home with lots of cuddles and gentle routine
• A family who understands strong personality dogs and lets me build trust slowly 🤍
I do well with other dogs and would be happy with a calm canine companion, but more than anything, I need people who will listen when I’m unsure and let me come out of my shell in my own time. Once I feel safe, I’m incredibly loving, loyal, and completely devoted.
I may need a little patience in the beginning, but once I love you… I really love you 🐾✨

Adoption FEE: $350, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
